Lincoln City is the greatest skatepark of all time. I used to love doing a circuit of Oregon skateparks with my homies. Camping overnight at the park and waking up in the morning to bomb the giant slalom is one of the best experiences.
This is what skateboarding is all about. Punk rock and insanity. Hate to say it but I feel like skateboarding have gotten preppy and soft but seeing this shows that there still some life in the sport.

Its going to be in the Olympics. It got preppy 15 years ago with people sponsored by energy drinks and headphone companies.
Id say punk appropriated every counter culture to try to stay alive when it wanted to be dead anyways. I love riding and I really love punk but damn we are dumb if we think something as rad as skateboarding would never become popular. Its too great for the age old thought of "its cool so long as nobody likes it."
Fuck the Olympics though. Skateboarding can be judged but I dont think at that level itll be anything other than a mess.

Jeppe Severin I live in Lincoln City. My wife and I were calling it Limpin City during the rip ride rally. Three days of epic riding and limpers all over town. It was so awesome!

my homie and I went to this, and I've never been to anything like it. Shit was so crazy. Cory Jeneau's slam in the big bowl ended the whole comp. Homie started having a seizure immediately after and we all thought he was out.
