Born and raised in Mexico, I can't understand how in a highly developed country like the United Kingdom, the urban gangs culture exists and survives. Scotland is a beautiful country, but there is a lot of street violence, sectarian violence and even football hooliganism (although these 3 issues are sometimes related). I love some of the representative icons of the Scottish culture, but that rich cultural legacy is being damaged by the urban violent idiosyncrasy found in some sectors of the Scottish society.

Julio Orozco not all of scotland is highly developed , gang culture has calmed down in scotland but areas like easterhouse where this was filmed as well as many many areas in particularly the west of scotland you cant walk too far from your house without the risk of being beaten up or worse. It is a historical problem that has been happening for so long it cant stop completely.

@@bnns1219 Do you live in Easterhouse? What you said could have been the case 15 years ago! Easterhouse has really changed in that time.
