I save time and money, stay out of trouble for starters; Never been shark bit or drowned, or shot.
NORTH BEACH IS SO MUCH QUIETER...and The Hotels are SO MUCH BETTER 😍

Having been to many FL beaches, it was fun to visit Myrtle Beach for the first time! The kids really enjoyed bodyboarding!

We are a little slow to comment as Hannah started school this week.
We really enjoyed this overview video. It has a great combination of our favorite things and new things we haven’t done. Did you know that the Pirate’s Voyage in Myrtle Beach was originally Dolly’s Stampede years ago and was converted to the Pirate’s show. That’s probably why it’s shaped differently than Pigeon Forge. We attended Dolly’s Stampede in Myrtle Beach many years ago.
Love that you had a chance to play Mt Atlanticus mini golf! That is such an awesome course! The other courses looked really cool too and we haven’t played the other 2 yet. There are sooo many courses! 🤪

Our Hannah started school this last week too! Thanks for the suggestion of Mt Atlanticus! I didn't film that one in detail, but did get some vertical shots for a short to put together.
I didn't know it was a stampede. We are actually doing the Pirates show here with some family coming into town next week. It will be interesting to see if we can find any differences in the show.

Cool video. I have never been to Myrtle Beach. It reminds me a lot of the old classic Panama City Beach that we used to go to. Gotta check it out someday.
It has a nickname of dirty myrtle. Where we were was nice & clean. We hope to go back more often!

As you know...boys will be boys! We have been in the Sevierville Buc-ee's a number of times now. The other layouts seem so small now...lol!

Coffee is our favorite! Our favorite place is always Starbucks! We stop at our local Starbucks before we head out for vacation!! We even look for Starbucks in vacation! We love it that Disney has Starbucks!

Enjoyed your video. I have been traveling to Myrtle Beach for the last 20 years and fell in love with the area. Golf, the beach and many attractions. If your family returns to Myrtle, I would highly recommend the restaurant call Flying Fish located at Barefoot Landing adjacent to the Alabama Theatre. Excellent food and a nice view of the Intercoastal Waterway. Enjoy your travels.

I can relate about the Coffee except I love Carmel Cappuccino and I haven't been to the new Buckee's Sevierville location yet and I live in Sevierville. This Beach is on my to visit list though. I really miss seeing a Beach I used to live in Naples, Florida. It makes me home sick 😎🌴🏖️💖

Great video! We’ve been wanting to go to Myrtle Beach, but some feedback we received that has been either they like it or don’t like it! Lol! I guess we need to check it out like y’all did! Looks like the kids had a great time on the beach! How did you like it compare to Florida beaches? Sometimes it’s hard to beat that beautiful gulf coast! Thanks for sharing! 😊
We grew up on FL beaches and felt like the dirty myrtle wasn't the case for us. The north side of Myrtle was nice and the sand was pretty clean. There are some FL beaches that would rank higher for us, but this was not bad at all!

Love Myrtle Beach. It’s funny, I was just in Pigeon Forge and I told my wife it’s Myrtle Beach, without the beach. But the Smokies are more beautiful honestly
We enjoyed visiting the beach, but said the same thing on the way. We love living in the mountains!
We love Myrtle Beach. Our friends own a condo in N Myrtle Beach
This was our first time to Myrtle Beach. It's the shortest drive to a beach from Pigeon Forge for us so we plan to go back more often!
The pirate in the middle of the two guys lives right around the corner from me! I always see him at the gas station and wondered what he did because he always has nautical themed jewelry on. I have my answer now.

It looks like you had a great family adventure together. Like you all, Kim B and I love to play mini golf. They all looked very fun but the Ripleys one really looked fun. The Pirate show really looked like a great show. The Pirate show is the only show in Pigeon forge that we have not seen. Is the one in Myrtle Beach the same? Would you recommend it? It looked like you had a wonderful family adventure together. Good food Good fun Good times and great memories. Thank you for sharing your adventure with us. It is a blessing to see families enjoying being together. God's love is seen through how you enjoy life and how you love one another.. I am anxious to hear what Hannah thinks of crab. I love it!! I would say the stage is different but everything else is pretty much the same. We are actually going to the Pirates Show in Pigeon Forge next week with some family coming in town so I will be able to be able to see any differences after going to both shows within a few weeks of each other. I hope y’all visit again! I’ll be honest, I’ve probably been to Myrtle Beach a hundred times and I’ve never been to most of the things in this video. If you want a quiet and laid back beach, I highly recommend Charleston. At Myrtle Beach though, the loud, crazy part is what makes it fun. If you go to Myrtle Beach again, these are some of the most important places for me:
-Family Kingdom
-Friendly’s (beside family kingdom)
-Captain Benjamin’s (beside family kingdom)
-Sea Captain’s House
-Rivercity Cafe
Trust me on this one, go to one of those trashy motels. 99% of the motels in Myrtle Beach are going to have a selection of wonderful pools.

I’ve never stayed there b’cuz they have live music till pretty late at Ocean Annie’s beach bar beside of it and I’m sure that resort isn’t peaceful, also the rooms looked small online and I’m sure that resort is used frequently by party goers and has a lot of wear and tear

It's true, and online photos of places always don't represent what they are really like!
Awesome trip, was that an optical illusion but when you all were at the beach at the beginning eating on the beach, we’re both of the sisters there it looks like Hannah was wearing the same clothes as maybe the other sister, I knew the older sister did not join you all much ?
She was always with us on this trip. I just do my best to not point the camera in her direction per her request. They did have some matching outfits and often have been asked if they are twins.
What a great family adventure you guys had! I'm looking forward to all of the detailed videos soon. This was a great overview and preview of what to expect.
So, what happened with the first place? Did they falsely advertise? Did you not fully research the place? We've done that before and ended up in a horrible place. Lesson learned and now we read tons of reviews, use Google street view to look at the surrounding area, etc. We're no longer fooled by the name "Executive Inn & Suites."
A family member shared points that we could use for a stay that when Brie looked it up seemed to be 50/50 on reviews and sounded like it would be "ok". The place wasn't like the pictures and our room was pretty rough. Thankfully we were able to snag the Airbnb we did last minute. It reminded us a lot of Disney's Old Key West. I think DVC has spoiled us...lol!
Let me guess, it was Sun and sand, we stayed there and there were cockroaches , lots!

@AdventureIsOutThere "Ok" might be passable for a one night stay, like just to sleep before a flight the next morning. But, for a week? We're going to splurge on a nicer room and work it into our budget. Yeah, DVC spoils you, doesn't it?!

Nashville is a great location for people who like downtown/bar vibe. We wanted to spend some time at the beach so we went here.
What happened with the fist Airbnb ?
It was a hotel that didn't represent itself online very well. It was rough!
And also are tornadoes a big deal in Tennessee? Or do people make it seem worse?
They can happen, but not to the frequency or degree they can happen in places like Oklahoma.

We did, it was a Melissa that we mailed it to.
The reason why I ask is we come from California. And my wife loves Nashville Tennessee because it looks the same a lot of the same shops. Is it the same in South Carolina?
A lot of the tourist areas have shops that are similar.
We are 2 Germans going on holiday to the east coast in September. Is Myrtle Beach the best choice or maybe Virginia Beach? What would you recommend. Greetings Guido
We haven't been to Virginia Beach yet but we really enjoyed Myrtle. The sand was soft and the water was nice and clear. We've heard that September is a nice time to go there as the crowds are a bit slower. Enjoy your holiday!

That's why I actually enjoy the country, the nature and the vastness in the USA. NY, LA, Chicago, SFO okay, but I prefer the small places.

We were, we weren't expecting a refund but thankfully got one!
