I've been waiting on this car since it was announced in Carrera's 2022 releases. It's finally here, and it's a beaut! A car with a history like this deserves to have it's story told...

Elle roule super bien et tient très bien la piste. Elle est rapide et très belle aussi. Les lumières donnent un effet vraiment réaliste.
Toutefois, une des roues avant vibre beaucoup, et je ne suis pas arriver à corriger cela. C'est comme si le petit essieu n'est pas suffisamment pressé dans le coussinet. La vibration est vraiment sévère au point ou je me demande si ca nui a la tenue de route surtout dans les virages.
Ce modèle est tout simplement magnifique ❤

Thank you so much for this awesome review and telling the history of this fantastic car! I too had been waiting the entire year for it to arrive and it hasn't disappointed! My cars also all go on the track as well, so like you I'm not so sure how long the little bits on the front end are going to last Lol!

Yeah, Carrera normally make fairly robust cars so hopefully this will be the same, but those front spots look quite vulnerable!

When I saw this car available for preorder last year, I knew I had to get it. It is just so unique and the history of course is amazing. I got mine a few weeks ago. I haven't tinkered with it yet, but I look forward to it. I can't say I am a fan of that chassis, especially the free floating front wheels, so it would be great if someone made a 3D chassis for this car. The Carrera tires are awful, even on my Policar track, so I usually switch to rubber if I can find a compatible size (I race without magnets). Great review! I like your plans for the car.

Yes, the tyres are awful, even by Carrera standards. Rock hard and a bespoke size which makes replacing them not possible. The independent front wheels wouldn't be an issue if they weren't quite so sloppy. And the guide is really far back which isn't ideal from a performance point of view. Yes, a new chassis will almost certainly be on the cards at some point

I’ve had the evolution version on preorder for ages, no sign anywhere, is it actually coming to the uk?

I actually don’t know what happened with the evolution version. Pendle had it as a pre-order for a while, then it vanished off their site, wasn’t even showing as out of stock. Jadlam listed it as sold out straight away.
