I’m a Filipina who is a U.S. citizen via my parents (who are both Filipinos, my father retired from the U.S. Navy). I joined the U.S. Army when I was 17, went to college while in the military, applied to go to Officer Candidate School, and retired as an Army Captain after 22 years in the Army. I was only 38 years old but I’m already receiving a big pension to include a non-taxable compensation from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). 38 is still considered young so I worked for the VA as GS-12 level as a rater for another 18 years then retired for the second time. I read a comment from your previous vlog that most women who are educated are more likely to separate/divorce their mates. I’m still on my first marriage of 34 years to the man I met while I was in the military. My point is not all educated, and strongly opinionated women are itching to leave the relationship. It takes 2 people to make it work. BTW, my husband also retired from the military so we do have a lot in common.

Hi Pamela, What a great life of service and accomplishment! Honored to have you as a part of the family here. I don’t remember seeing that comment, and hope I didn’t imply that in one of my comments. My position is simply that at retirement, most of us are well past the hustle years. I hope we can say hello when you visit. Best, Joe.

I think the comment was directed at me by someone else, the comment did not come from you. But that’s ok, he’s entitled to an opinion. 😊

sound advice all from a logic perspective and that is good. I would add her interests and what you are romantically looking for (but no need to go in too much detail here hahaha), I agree with most of your points. I found my love the first Philippina I met. Foolish? YES!!!!! Happily married for almost 5 years. Take care wish you good luck😀😀😀
