- The Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, officially named as Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Trans Harbour Link and also known as Sewri-Nhava Sheva Trans Harbour Link, is a 21.8 km (13.5 mi) 6-lane access-controlled elevated road bridge, which connects Mumbai with Raigad District's Navi Mumbai, its satellite city. It is the longest sea bridge in India, and the world's 12th longest sea bridge. The bridge begins in Sewri, South Mumbai, crosses Thane Creek north of Elephanta Island, and terminates at Chirle near Nhava Sheva in Uran taluka, Raigad District. The road is linked to the Mumbai-Pune Expressway in the east and to the under-construction Coastal Road in the west. The 6-lane highway is 27 meters in width, in addition to two emergency exit lanes, two edge strips, parallel crash barriers and noise barriers on both sides.[12][13][14] The project costs a total of ₹17,843 crore (US$2.2 billion). The bridge has a capacity to handle 70,000 vehicles per day. Construction on the bridge began in April 2018, and was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 12 January 2024.

@@jishnu9551 today is 3rd day & it's still there. It's a pure attempt of affiliating the success of project to few parties. If only modi ji or shinde shaheb poster is there, it's happy to see because they represent GOI. But not their parties. I don't like & as a citizen of india, I can just share my feeling & file the complaint to officials. If They don't listen, I will remember it as one of the many points while making the evaluation on voting day.

Lane discipline for Indian drivers is such a difficult and impossible task. Even when lane marking is clearly visible but still these unskilled pathetic drivers will find it so difficult to drive in one single lane even for a few seconds. Throughout your video you had been jumping the lane and switching for no reason and also driving in the middle of two lanes and thereby blocking two vehicles space. Plus stopping on the emergency lane or the shoulder was strictly prohibited which was told in advance but don't know what people are standing there for as its not a picnic spot. Seems like they haven't seen a sea or water body from above the bridge throughout their life. People lack basic civic sense and have this poor attitude of taking rules for granted. Also, I saw in another video people have also started to litter on the emergency lanes by treating it as a waste dump. Traffic dept. should penalize all the cars by running search on their number plates and impose a hefty fine.
