Thanks for the review Brandon A few words about the composition: Musk paste- pure musk grains brought to a paste state using a special technology. Musk in sandalwood oil 10% Castoreum tincture: more than 10% Musk tincture: more than 10% Musk in jojoba oil 10%
Question: how is this sourced? Are the musk deer killed for the purpose of the musk, or are these a side-business of hunters or scavenged from already-passed creatures?
small instructions for the pod :) Turn the pod hair down and make an incision with a scalpel around the half that is hairless. Then take it off as a lid from a jar and you will see a lot of grains inside. Clean the remaining musk from the hairless half of the wall and throw it away. After you free the pod from the musk grains, use the half with the hair to tincture. It is steeped in the secret of Ketone-muskone. If you want the grains to remain semi-dry, place them in a tightly closed jar and store them in the refrigerator. If you want the grains to dry completely, put them in a dark place at room temperature for storage. Or better yet just add the grains to the Mysore sandalwood oil :)
I've just heard from Andrei that you posted this. I've only just realised that I don't have the notification bell selected, haha. Flip man I want to get that 44g pod now.
NinjaRob was my primary source for musk info but didn't know he had a website. I'll leave those to the perfumers who know what they're doing. I'm after his medicinal ingredients which I know something about.
Would love to know so much more on the medical side of musk and all the benefits. So sad modern medicine overlooks what some cultures have known for years.
Agreed, so many things in nature can be used for health. Sad what has happened to health care. Truly it's led to drug addiction and people think naturals are the problem. Easy to disillusion people with marketing tactics.
@@sibermusk4067 While I agree folk medicine is an important tradition that could benefit from a formal study, there is always the possibility of unintended consequences, especially by people jumping onto a hot trend when things are taken out of their original tradition. All the aspects of misuse everyone knows about in the perfume industry regarding musk, oud, sandalwood, resins, but when we are talking about ingesting these things, it's much more serious. There is the old saying "knowing just enough to be dangerous" and what's good for one person may not be for another. When it comes to natural substances, my rule of thumb is always start with knowing what the contraindications are. These days many people are on strong prescription drugs and the combined use can have dangerous side effects. That said, I will reach out to you in the near future through your website for more details, the ingredient I was looking at was actually the antler as well as the musk.
When I got around to buying musk grains for my macerations, it didn't take me long to find NR and others if you looked in the right places and asked around .I guess the people I talk to are much more open and generous with their info than your circle 😂😂😂😂
Both of you guys are in a good circle no us and them. Naturals is about sharing. Let's be real it's not a topic a lot of people want to talk about publicly due to the controversy. That's mostly the hush hush. And @floating man please DM me on a source for ambergris. That would be most helpful, my last ingredient.
Hehe, supply and demand. Hope he can keep up if he does. Under the radar seems good for a business that is misunderstood. I've been buying from him for years, going back to Ebay and the forums.
Therapeutic Fragrance I think we are quite similar. I enjoy naturals and fragrance in general. I research, tincture, macerate, and burn. I mix, discover, and learn. Keep up the great content.

Thanks for posting here Andrei superb info
We macerate it in moringa oil or in floral oils such as ylan ylang or vetiver.......but it sandal wood we don't like it.
Awesome video. On Saturday I received a package from SiberMusk and my mind instantly says, "heavenly". Amazing work.

Musk has an incredibly wide medical use. Today, it is mainly used in folk medicine. This knowledge should be disseminated.

Thank You For The Education As Always 👏🏾👏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Great video! What are your plans for the pod?
Little of this, little of that, and a stock ton of tincture. Maceration in a special Santal and tincture.
@@TherapeuticFragrance cool. That's what I did, tinctures.
How much volume were you able to get?
@@TherapeuticFragrance my first experiment yielded about 15ml after 6 months of maceration. The musk grains swell up and retain a lot of fluid.
Did you press the fluid back out, that has to be the best stuff!!!
Down to the real stuff. Really nice
Yes indeed. Many before me hope I can do it justice
@@TherapeuticFragrance Enjoy the ride brother. Results will come if it's meant to be.
Can't agree more🙏🙏🙏
Beautiful , When is the operation?

Wow man...
It's time
Cut up skin with hair attached for tincture
Planning on doing this.
Exciting times!
Yes Sir
On the contrary, these are Sad times Sir, taking away life from a animal for personal joy is sad .
Jojoba will spoil over time
Must be for medicine then. You are right.
Therapeutic Fragrance actually jojoba was the traditional method used from long time, but sandalwood was found to be better as it doesn’t spoil
And it smells amazing. What a pair they make.
Channeling your inner OJ with that glove, mate? 😂
LOL, Hey man this glove fit just fine.
Bro, he's the source. You might want to delete this vid before you ruin the flow 😂🤷♂️
