This is very clever. While going up from the minor third to the major one, are you correcting the hand shape towards the semi chromatic or rather keep it the same? I guess both options might have uses. But let's say what would be ideal while just practicing those shifts? Greetings
I think you should start by shifting with a fixed hand shape and afterwards adjust the hand shape when necessary. Eventually you will be doing both things simultaneously but best not to try and learn two things at once.
