I forgot everything about this movie EXCEPT the band instructor vaguely reminding the saxophones to "watch out for those quarter notes", i.e., the absolute most basic note in all of music. A much better version of this premise was done by the show "Person of Interest", that involves an advanced computer that has access to NSA surveillance to predict when crimes are about to happen. The difference is, in that show the computer is restricted to only provide information to other character that they can act on, it cannot do everything itself.
