@@louisb2629 Thanks for the advice. I had already ordered a new SSD (someone told me that it was most likely that te cause was that my drive was failing). So I installed Win8.1 into the new SSD. Then, after I installed several drivers to work with the formatted laptop, it crashed again. I realized that the problem was not my drive, but most likely the drivers I had installed (either that or Dell SupportAssist, which helps me check for driver updates). I formatted again, installed only the crucial drivers (bluetooth, wifi, trackpad, etc.), and it's now running smoothly.
Didnt work for me. Went completely black but power light stayed on and then got a BIOS corruption scrren. But then everytime it started to run the fix it went black again and fans/everything shut off. It tried it twice and now its just black with no sound but power light is still on. Any idea how to fix it? We've literally had this laptop for a month and a half. Havent used it for anything other then work.

@@mahshidkhanahmadi3746 i just chose the system restore option. During the first try, my laptop opened but it goes back to these options after i shut it down. Then, i repeat the process and it is now working you can find many vids here in yt how to do the "system restore" in your laptop.

I occasionally get this screen when I leave my laptop idle and it goes to sleep mode. And when I press power button to wake it up I get this error message. It's occasional but reàlly frustrating because I losse all my unsaved files and changes
Same, I have a Dell XPS and its been doing this since I got it new. Mine crashes whenever it gets too hot like if I put in in a laptop sleeve without waiting for it to cool down. It used to crash wayyy more often until I changed the drive. Now all I have are trackpad issues, and occasional bugs/glitches when waking from sleep such as not being able to change the brightness via the shortcut and sometimes not being able to use the trackpad at all, meaning I have to restart.

@@jaydenabrown44 No, he’s right. The rule is to take out the other noun and see if you use “I” or “me” and in this case it is me. You would not say “thank you for helping I” you would say “thank you for helping me”. You use “I” in other scenarios. For example, going to the store. It would be “Bob and I went to the store” because the original is “I went to the store”. Hope this helps!
