This was truly amazing. As a Hungarian/Canadian/American, to see a trio out of California play real, authentic Hungarian folk music was inspiring. You guys kill it. Please come to NYC soon?
This gets better and better as it goes on, then at 3:50 it gets that swingness and yea you guys are just truly amazing! Is Luanne the daughter of Paganini?
They are playing aproximately these songs : Sárgul már a kukoricaszár Szép asszonynak kurizálok and they are the so called quick csárdás. I would recommend you also "Ghymes". It is a Transylvanian Hungarian music band. Their music is magnificent. Best regards
Great playing!! But please stop calling these "traditional Hungarian folk songs" because they are not, at all. They all have their composers. 1. Akácos út: Kalmár Tibor or Pazeller Jakab - there is a legal dispute 2. Szép asszonynak kurizálok: B. Fehér Jenő 3. Hull a fa levele, hull a hó: Rózsavölgyi Márk - Heródek Sándorné So please give them due credit. Thank you, A Hungarian folk singer
Ok but this is TH-cam u have to name it and it has to be searched to get views. Hungarian Songs is a good name for that. Ofc in the desc there should be more info.
@@adamcsillag6058 Yes the title itself is alright (searchability etc), however it's not only a misinformation to call something "traditional" which is not, but it's a copyright matter, too. Crediting the composers is a very basic.
@@AndreaGerakSinger Yes I said I complately agree with u, they should fill out the description and perhaps pin a post with detailed info, so everybody can comment on it. No argument here, but the title must be scetchy and little "misinfo" can be forgotten for the aim to spread the music. It's about keywords, and I call this no lies, however who writes into the search engine "traditional" maybe they looking for similar kind of music, with real instruments playing, maybe it's technically not exact but covers the main audience.

@@PreservationEnthusiast Ok, but the ensamble is presented as such. Not as a violinist "with accompaniament". In their repertoire at large the role of the other musicians is very much different.
@@guillermorochabrun3456 Yes, this video should have been presented as as Hungarian Songs, soloist Luanne Homzy, violin. Luanne is great.... what a talent!
Saw these artists today, they are amazing!!!
Very good Luanne. I like it. Congrat. Hello from Venezuela. Ollantay
All 3 were amazing!

Amazing playing - just not real, authentic folk music at all.
@@AndreaGerakSinger Violin absolutely killed it. Hardly heard anything of the other two apart from the odd bum-chuck.
@@PreservationEnthusiastThey all killed it absolutely.
@@waterkingdavid I think the violin was the star. Other two were just bum-chucking!

Amazing!
4:37 my favorite melody commences
I'm hooked!
Gratulálok!
Megható, hogy külföldön is milyen csodálatosan tudják játszani a magyar népzenéket, és hogy ott is szeretik...
Ez nem népzene, de tényleg szépen játszanak
The guitar and bass were just there to make up the numbers... violin was killing it!
the bass in common in the hungarian music and the guitar replace the dulcimer (what is mostly used by gypsy bands).
Nice!
marveleoso sehr schön. Please where can we her the sheet music.
where is the sheet music?
.....Grapelli?
lindo e muito bem tocado; a base é czardas de Vittorio Monti ?
blease where can i found violin sheet music 4 this ??

Ahelyett hogy örülnénk, hogy mások is megismertetik a világgal a zenéinket, kijavítgatjuk őket bagatel dolgokon. Ezért nem szeretnek miniet a világon.
hey guys! Is there an arrangement of this I can purchase?
Akacos ut?
Does anyone know what the song is that starts at 3:50? Thx.
It's Szép asszonynak kurizálok, but in another style than the original.

The first one is the "Akácos út" this is the slow piece.
Akácos út... - Szép asszonynak kurizálok... - "a" minor csárdás ;)
Egyedi értelmezésben, de élveztem! (at them own interpretation, but well done)

If this ensamble is announced as a trio, why not to include the name of the double-bassist?
Bassist was not important. He was just doing a bit of tremello and bum-chucking any fool could do. Violin was the star of the show.
