Beautifully done Dimitry. I'm a composer and after I heard you play this, I began writing a Violin and Piano duet, trying to capture the feeling that this piece does. Thanks for sharing, Cheryl Edelman.

That was beautiful! Vibrato and trills like liquid, and a sensitive interpretation.

And this is why I bought the violin. I just got it today and managed to play first 4 notes of this amazing performance. Unfortunately I have no idea how to read violin music sheet yet. At the beginning this is a labyrinth. Slowly I will get there. Thank you very much Dimitry for outstanding performance and inspiring me.

Está melodia é de uma pungência extraordinária, uma ternura, uma ressonância à nossa humanidade, de tal forma que nos irmanamos num nesmo lamento, num mesmo encantamento perante a absoluta transcendência de estar vivo...

Very nice performance of a beautiful melody. The piano was too loud and the violin is overwhelmed in several places. This melody should be about the violin.

Thanks for your feedback. Yes the violin is the main character here, but given that this is a live recording, it is difficult to gage with recording equipment wihtout editing a recordign to adjust balance. This is recorded live in a church. Perhaps from the audience, the balance was more appropriate.
