Thanks for the great tour of this plugin, Pax! It would be interesting to hear how you find Carboard compares with the Kanban plugin and/or the Projects plugin. A big challenge with Obsidian for new users I think is how there are often several plugins that do similar things and knowing which to choose or try first.
Not hate but the flow of this video is quite bad honestly. He ask us to install tasks plugin then just suddenly moved to install cardboard without explaining why task is needed. Then he got lost in explaining the details of the filtering when no overview explanation has been given first. I hope he sees both of our comment and improve! All the best! or he already gotten better since this video was uploaded 4 months ago by the time i see it.
Whenever I see a task manager but it doesn't include priorization and hierarchical sorting it's a bummer for me. I'm sorry, this looks fancy but it's not useful.
Hi! How can do this: when I create a task it must have date AND current TIME of creation. Also when I finish task it also must have d+t format. Which script must be modified? Maybe it can be modified by dataview additional script inside the file?
Yes, but adding tags allows you to create Tag board. Also, having the tasks plugin makes jt easy to create tasks such as adding due date, priorities, etc.
@@beingpax sorry for the typo, Please read it with the corrected words, I meant tasks* plugin and not tags. How does that add to the cardboard plugin if there are both independent
Hi, I just found out Google's Gemini pro API is free to use for everyone. So please make a video on how we can take advantage of it using text generator plugin or any other plugin which supports this API key to take advantage of AI in obsidian for free.

damn.. I've been struggling to find a simple and good task management system in until today. Thank you man.
Quite interesting, I need to think about switching from Tasks to this plugin, subtasks is essential
Hope the cardboard developer hears your advice
thanks for the tutorial, is it possible to create some input field on top of the board to be able to quickly add a new task without going to a note?
Thanks for this. Much appreciated!
super useful ... i learnt ..thank you
You are really a gold mine ! Many thanks !
thank you so much!
it's somehow limited right? because we can't create a column based on date and tag at the same time
I must have missed something, why install the plugin TASKS? I didn't notice an obvious link between TASKS and the CARDBOARD plugin

Good effort brother
I was able to make the first card that you showed, but I have no idea of how to get the column to register a task.
you confused me when you mentioned tasks plugin, cardboard plugin alone is all you need no? what is the added benefit to having them both?
Yes, but adding tags allows you to create Tag board. Also, having the tasks plugin makes jt easy to create tasks such as adding due date, priorities, etc.

How would you add notes or subtasks to individual tasks?
After you write your initial task use Shift+Enter to add a new line under the task and either add a new task or note.
Hey, I am just wondering if you are from Odisha?
