This is the first I've heard of using vinegar and not peroxide to cleans new plants. I'd like to see a comparison of technique or hear more on this subject. Thanks

What a beautifully shot tutorial video! I've never thought of importing plants because I'm afraid of them being damaged in the shipping process. i also had no idea how to plant bare root plants! So this was very helpful! Question, when you rinsed off the rice vinegar/water mixture under running water, were you just using tap water? If so, is the rinse under the tap water quick enough that the chemicals and minerals in the tap water won't damage the plant? Just curious since you spent time wiping off the mineral stains off the plants beforehand. Thanks!
Yeah I’ve been there too! Took me a while to try importing plants after doing all the research. But as you can see it’s not that bad! Sometime the plants look better than if they were shipped domestically 🤣 I just used tap water, i guess it depends on here youre located? NYC tap doesn’t give me water stains 🪴
That was super relaxing to watch. They all look great. Love that alocasia cuprea? Not sure If I spelled that right lol. It looks like the plant as abs! I hope the spider mites stay away. I always hear that they attract them. Can’t wait to see more updates.

Do your terracotta pots have drainage holes at the bottom? I noticed you planted your Florida Ghost straight into the terracotta pot itself. If it doesn't have drainage holes, do you have any tips for planting straight into a pot without drainage holes? Thank you!
All my terracotta pots have drainages holes!! If it doesn’t have a hole, then make one!! Haha I have a video on how I make drainage holes. I just don’t want to risk root rot and overwatering 🙈

In Australia 🇦🇺 we are not allowed o import plants overseas 😞. Lemon Juice works amazing on getting rid of hard water also 😁
