  • The right light will make your evenings warm and relaxed. There is a quality that shoji paper gives to the light that you can somehow feel it. I am making in this video a lamp made of wood and shoji paper.

    Great video, very relaxing. I made Japanese lanterns (some painted rice paper+all lacquer covered) for all rooms in my house, took a lot of time and looked great until cats discovered how fun they are to play with.

    your workbench is exactly what i envision. just a bit higher as a stand up table with detachable workboard

      ​@@Octavian-Dan haha, I actually guessed that you are currently in Germany. I do live in Munich too! I´d say you got most of your tools from Dictum :) but where do you get your wood from?

      @@Gecko2305 cool, a fellow Munchener. I get some of the tools from Dictum and from finetools.de It was a struggle with the wood but for small projects I found on ebay a merchant that has great selections of woods and great delivery. Search for modellbau-holzleisten on ebay.de Cheers.

      I found a wood workshop on eBay that sells wood in small quantities at different sizes.
