Driving in Croatia #29 - Day Drive from Vrbovec to Lonjica

Lonjica or Lojnica is named after the river Lonja , which was first mentioned in preserved documents in 1261. The name of the stream Zlonyn from 1244 and the forest Zlonin from 1788 refers to the border between the lordships of Vrbovac and Lonjica, and not to Lonjica.
