His AIO looks similar to the 'be quiet PURE LOOP' I used in my new PC. Unlike other AIOs, the pump is built into the water tubes and has its own power cable. The heat exchanger that mounts on top of the CPU has a separate power wire. The AIO's cables attach to a SCSI connector using a Y adaptor. The SCSI cable then connects to the PSU, which powers both.

I connecter both the AIO housing and the pump wires to the SATA and the AIO worked properly. I think the pump speed is controlled by the heat exchanger mounted on top of the CPU. I'll go to the be quiet website to make sure.
