    thanks for this, Mike. Do you go on one listing trip and how do you avoid sellers saying 'thanks for this info. We are going to talk to other agents and get back to you'? In other words, how do you go and close for the signature before others do? Thanks!

    Mike you mention Ed Mylett in your suit example and said he values quality. Would you categorize a desire for quality as fulfilling a certainty need? Recognition? Curious how that fits in with these 6. Thoughts?

    • @stevemaher9778
      @stevemaher9778 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      On second thought, I'd place a desire for quality under certainty. The tailor was simply misplacing their attempt at creating it by trying to build certainty in their "brand" rather than certainty in their "product" (the fabric, tailoring techniques, etc). Great thought provoking video by the way. Thanks for sharing.

    Certainty: what if you are very new to the industry. I only have 3 closings under my belt and 14 months into the RE industry. That may not very impressive to a potential listing client. How do I answer questions about my listing track record if I do not have one?
    Variety: How do I show a potential listing client that I am unique, tech-savvy & can offer them an innovative experience in selling their home?
    Recognition: I do not have any awards or famous names to drop. But I was an owner/developer in Northeast. I developed a small neighborhood of custom homes (designed, built, marketed and sold). Would that be something to mention?
    Connection: I got this one.
    Growth: I got this one.
    Contribution: Would it be all right to state that I serve on several Boards of a charities (Ronald McDonald House/Habitat for Humanity)? Or is it better to make a donation?
    Thanks for this post. I can really use a mentor as my firm really doesn't provide.

  • @realproperty1012
    @realproperty1012 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    When you donate money you donated to help not to advertise that you’re donating money! When you’re successful real estate agent you don’t need to justify yourself to anyone. You let your results speak for themselves.

      What?

    • @aubreysellssofl
      @aubreysellssofl 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What I mean is that as a new agent I don’t have the experience to say that I sold a certain amount in real estate last year or that I’ve sold this many homes in this area or be able to talk to any awards or accomplishments. I can speak to the fact that I’ll work hard for them or be available when to hold their hand thru the process. But based on what you said there were a few “needs” that as a new agent I wouldn’t be able to speak to.

    • @Mike_Sherrard
      @Mike_Sherrard  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@aubreysellssofl You just need to leverage what your brokerage has done. You don't need to talk about what YOU have done as a new agent... it's what WE have done as a brokerage (referring to whichever brokerage you're at).
