The normal gate is always convenient. Anything extraordinary will be pain in the ass while using. 😅 I appreciate the idea but it's practically hard to use.
Type of gate is decided as per the site conditions, we cant do normal gaye in this site, usage of proper hardware and experienced workers may lead to good maintenance free gate, we are using only imported hardwares, intial cost slightly heigher but no maintenance, that the gurantee

Very good idea if this is Kerala. Most of the Kerala inner lanes and roads are very narrow & it becomes difficult to turn vehicle into home parking area. With this type of gate it will become easier & save time. Why are people complaining about closing gate? Whatever type you have,you have to close the gate. The gate moves so smoothly over the channel, that one person is enough to open it. Besides anyone will open the gate as required, not fully. People have created unique solutions for problems they are facing.Maybe it’s not applicable to you but useful product /idea for others. If you can’t encourage, atleast stop ridiculing. Unnecessary criticism & bullying is why our people are hesitant / discouraged from entrepreneurship.

My father was Civil Er, so he did that then.. Have seen many using similar sliding gates nowadays..
I like that sound the gate makes at the curve...kind of like a slow train changing tracks.
we have to keep the railings track cleen ,all the time, any mud dust or small rocks keep falling inside tracks

For all geniuses, that wall is going to be removed most probably.
The Ground Railing is not sufficient to support the weight of the gate. We also have issues with debris deposition on railing. A foldable gate is a much better alternative.
