Great❤
Great video as always, thank you. BTW, Is there a mate in two in 49:01 ? 😊
Too expensive at $197
There's so much content inside...if he sold it separately it would be atleast 5 different courses. @@StreetArtistsOfTheWorld
Hello Nelson, I don't think "breaking 1500" is the correct title. It should be called: chess master on the making. Anyway, sorry that I have to skip. All the best!
Ur explaining ur moves has helped my game, a lot! Thank you!
48:22My favorite part was when Nelson said “finish munching up the pawns” 😂
I'm still at minute 17, but looking forward to that part!
If I had 1 elo for every time nelson advertised breaking 1500, I wouldn't need the course
I would already be 1500
😂
That’s the point of marketing a course, also great value for such a price.
Sorry! But just 4 more days of advertising then I'm done and it's back to normal!
Bros got 3 kids and he’s providing value…plug away Nelson
36:30 you’re so much more kind than me. I woulda been like “you already lost bro chill out”
Nelson, stuff comes so naturally to you given your vast experience particularly starting at a young age.. You have the ability to look at a position or a move and almost instantly know (or at least feel) if it was a good or bad move, where it can take one or two orders of magnitude longer for me. So in saying that, I really appreciate the time and effort you put in and your presentation style so have joined your new course with a bit of a financial reward for you and hopefully an improvement reward for me (and others on the course) :)
Thank you!!
I also tried the fishing pole trap, but then i realized that my opponent hasn't castle yet, so i ended up losing my bishop😂😅
I've used it late in a game. With 2 rooks. Opponent escaped short term but resigned.
The other problem is that W should only fall for it once. If you draw someone who knows how to counter (typically Ng5 which blocks Q access) Black can end up in a weak position. Particularly diificult in game 1 as Black also has to deal with the threat of Nxc7+ if Q stops guarding c7.
Congrats on the launch of your new course Nelson, looks extremely professional and I hope you have big success with it!!
He is probably sending you angry face emojis because he thinks you're cheating. It's quite clear your strength is well above his.
Preview of new course looks AMAZING, also seem like a great value. Other than my unique case, which I am sure Nelsi understands, IMO if you can afford it-just do it, especially with money back guarantee!
I'm part of the breaking 1500 community. Looking forward to working through the course.
Is it good??
where is the course
@@EXROthechoosenone tldr; too early to say, but probably.
I purchased access 10 minutes ago and only watched the intro video. I'm also already over 1500. So it's too early to review.
What I will say is that I started playing daily as an adult around 6 months ago, and only had experience as a young kid (10-12 yo)
I've used Nelsons content as my main source of instruction, I also share it with kids I teach in my chess club and we have all shown steady progress. I bought this course because I've had so much success with Nelson as a "coach" already.
After a cursory glance the course seems to be AT LEAST on par with Nelsons free content, and with the amount of time he says he's put into it, I'm confident it will be better.
I can't wait, thx for the initial insight@Jay-gj1rl
Just discovered your channel and I have to say that I love your commentary and breakdown of chess opening and analyzing. Makes the game enjoyable.
Wow! That was a very helpful episode! Thx!
just delivered the smothered checkmate you showed in this video against fried liver. thank you for the tactic!!
Awesome videos. I've really enjoyed these segments. I literally used the fishing pole trap for the first time today and got checkmate in 14!
Ahhhhh life is full of tough choices, watching this new video like I do almost every morning, or start working on the breaking 1500 course!! Thanks Nelson!!
I’ve recently subbed to your channel and you have tremendously helped my chess game
I too am not comfortable with the Fried Liver as black (27:55 mark), which is why instead of playing Nf6, I instead play my favorite gambit, the Rousseau gambit, with pawn to f5. Lots of tricky traps if white isn't careful.
That’s my go to line as well!
I love your commenting and slow playing, explaining while you or even before you do... I'm playing 10min games and I just need all my time to quickly think, look and act... I don't have time for strategie 😀
but, it's slowly coming just by staying calm playing, losing a lot and learning from my mistakes...
still stuck between 7-800 but I don't mind much, it's fun playing intuitive and trying not to fall for the regular traps
thanks for the video's and keep em comming; good luck with the sales
I get paid on Friday. After rent if I still have some fun money, I think I’m gonna give the course a try! I’ve been watching for a little less than a year now and have struggled to apply what I learn in these videos in real play. If I can just break through the 400 elo wall I’m in, I’d consider it a success!
People are following the principle of not accepting a gamited paw unless they know the lines
Soooo good.thank you for going over this at min 28/29. I have been getting rocked by this lol
Would love to see Evans' gambit sometime!
49:00 Missed mate in 2 💀
Rd3 rd4#
I also spotted that. Perhaps it's easy to miss how restricted the white king is from moving to the fifth rank.
Good stuff as usual. Thanks, Nelson. A tip on openings: it might be good for you to introduce openings appropriate to the level with which you are playing in each game. You have more knowledge of this idea than your audience.
My suggestion: The Stonewall.
Yes I have problems with a 2000+ picking on low elos.
You are a better player than I but I concur with most of your moves; I like is how you explain your moves, thank you, as I at times make the right move without knowing fully why.
Hello Nelson. If the course opens up again in the winter I would definitely be interested.
the fritz gambit at 28:10 works pretty well (at my low Elo, at least). Feels so good getting that smothered mate!
This is a great concept here. To watch the actual assent.
what a great vid! (and pleasure to watch) thx dude, very educational! =)
Fantastic lessons Nelson! Thank you.
I feel like a dope I didn’t get in on the course. You gotta let us know when you re release it.
Please keep posting these rating climbs!! They are great. I've gone from 400 to 800 overnight. But I'm getting stuck.
Average Joe's Fried liver attack against J3su56 was great! GGs Nelson! ‼️‼️
goblinzflying here, learned the power of pawns, thanks Nelson!
Good instruction Nelson you use a lot of great common sense in your games you’re a good player and you probably are knowledgeable about openings and main lines which I’m not I’m just an 1192 Daily player nothing great about my game but I’m good with tactics at times I enjoy watching you make the moves you do which are smart moves it’s the lower rated players that need help with preventing making blunders or the mistakes they do that costs them the game
Nice video Nelson. It seems like you had to finds some moves against these 700’s !
Thanks for your great content, and for taking the time to explain your thoughts & moves! Giuoco is pronounced "JO-co" (means game in italian)
Congrats man!! I'm sure the course is awesome!
It'd be great to see you cover the Luccini Gambit. It can arise after an opponent refuses the Rousseau Gambit with d3. Some very nice tactics and multiple sacrifices for quick wins follow if they go after your rook with a fried liver style attack.
52.25 Stockfish ROCKZZZ!
Have you done a version of PIRC yet? I could have missed it.
Always great content and valuable tips, thanks! Would love to see Nelson and Agadmator vs each other in friendly matches, since they are very close in ELO ranking. Hope they can reach out to one another and make it happen. I think their followers would love that. 😀
Can someone make a montage of Nelson being disappointed when opponent doesn't play into the opening. 😂
lol😂
28:40 "We got him" 😂
Its like a greek gift, if they can play bishop f4 after queen h5 then their bishop defends the knight which stops the mate.
One thing I saw was at 13:20 you could have sacrificed the bishop for mate in 2 if they took
"Wow stockfish is crazy" - favorite part of this episode.
Would love to see some Sicilian when you get the black pieces. I have a bias toward Taimanov but am fine with any other variations. Love the videos!
Good job on reaching 700! That's a big milestone for you! And by the way, your strategies helped me a lot. I made a list of chess principles on my office wall (using sticky notes). Because of this, my rating is no longer at 400. My rating is now at 440. Thanks for your help, Nelson!
man, these 700s play very well
opening requests: göring gambit and polish opening
also bring back the back and forth pov with other streamers, that was my favorite format!
Hey could you try Queen's Indian Defence. Never seen a chess player playing this defence. Hope you see !❤
This trap very2 help me gain some rating…smothered checkmate…thanks nelson!
I love the videos. I would love to see you play a Grunfeld in a game, I don't know if you've ever played that. That would be verynice, thank you :)
How did bro comment in the past? (ThePinned comment) And also please add the Blackmar gambit I would like to see how you play it.
He's a chess wizard
@@KneelNMcTrue😂
Bro this video is was uploaded on youtube more than 5 days ago but he unlisted this right now
video was recorded earlier, he has published it today
Fishing pole trap - something to remember
can you play the beaver dam opening or the goldsmith defense?, that'd be hilarious. the beaver is basically every pawn on the 3rd or 6th rank
Really wish i could afford the breaking 1500 course. Maybe after the interactive part is over part of it will be offered at a lower price. Im sure it is a good value, just xant swing it right now.
Hi Nelson, great content as usual. I have a question. On game 3 when the queen was on D5, did you consider the queen sac on G8 ? I don't think it's the best according to stock fish but it's still winning and the line if he takes with the rook is quite fun. Love to hear your thoughts. Thanks :)
13:28 What about sacing the bishop on C4 to lure the knight out, then you can put the queen on the square it used to defend for forced M2? If they don't take, I don't see any way for them to do anything to hurt your position and you've developed a piece.
When is breaking 2000 coming out
great video i found this helping me because i have plateaued so i am not getting any better :(
Can you play the grand prix attack against the sicilian? Grand prix attack starts with 1. e4 c5 2. Nc3 and any move they play and then 3. f4.
Great video as usual :) You mentioned the center game with the queen going back to e3 after Nc6, but can the queen go to a4, a bit like what we see in the Scandinavian, when the black queen goes to a5?
I learned a lot.❤
hope chess is awesome i always play hope chess xD, also another awesome video from this series!!!
25:31 u missed checkmate in 2 instead of Queen g3 u should go for h5 then f7 checkmate
29:09 I've won so many games like that it's crazy how many players fall for this line. even if they know how to react properly, i still feel like i can get good position
Brilliant! :) You catched your fish, but you still had fried liver for dinner! :)👍👍👍
can you try the Duras gambit? it should be fun at this level
Wouldn't taking the rook at 42:46 amount to a bad trade? The bishop was hanging (the opponent missed it) and you have to figure the knight is pretty much gone, stuck in the corner at least. That's a knight and bishop for a rook. Doesn't that break a general principle?
missed mate in two against Liliana35. minute 48:58 should go Rd2-d3 and later Rd8-d4
Nelson, love your videos, I am at 900 and climbing steadily but my accuracy is often very low like 60 but I am still winning?! What am I doing wrong?? OR is it just the computer not doing what humans would do?
How about the nakhmanson gambit
What would you say is better against the fried liver? The traxler counter or the fritz gambit?
when you keep winning at 700 with 95% accuracy, they might think you cheate xD.
I’ve sure fallen for the fishing pole trap repeatedly… despite knowing it is coming.
Do you play Modern Benoni? It's interesing to see this debut in your explanatiin.
5:29
Why did you took the bishop?
This gives white the chance to avoid the FISHING POLE TRAP with qf3- check, then qh3
Am I thinking about this correctly?
You only get to take the dark squared bishop, not the pair at 8:28
Or are you allowed to hop twice?
there was no need to go for a queen in the game against liliana. 2 rooks against a bare king is a quick and easy checkmate
what would be happen if you stop playing chess totaly for 12 month ? will your skill go down ?
What currency is your course in?
Please add the Traxler and the Icelandic gambit
42:50 “It felt like I should have had a more powerful move”😓
41:12 why couldn’t you move your knight on f6 to g4 and capture that pawn and change the knight away?…
Let’s go fishing 😅
29:06 i won against 6 people with this trap
I`m your sub now
In the first game, why doesn't Queen takes g4 for white save the game?
At 21:20 in the video I think you would have trapped his queen if you'd have gone Q to G4 check. He showed he wanted to trade queens so if queen to f5 then bishop takes knight check.
K to F6, but you keep the knight
Am i wrong or did he miss forced mate at 48:02 Rd3 Kg4 Rf4 Ne4 Rxe4? Or if 2. Kh4 he has Rf4+ Rg4 Bf2#
What about Queen's Gambit ?
1:02:30 why not e4 first then Qb2 mate? if Rb2 then you have Na3 fork.
I'm worried that 1 day, any of my ratings might be under averagejoe
Why dont you use the wooden design? I like it much better / looks smoother...
Thanks for your teachin lessons; I like them best
At White 4:36... I'd f4 great to threaten push kick knight ... don't care about my e4 pawn at that point?
The pre-move is sometimes hard to follow
70 views in 4 minutes bro did not fall off.
By taking his bishop you give him a way out. The fishing pole trap.
He can put you in check then his queen in front of yours.
You should of slid your king behind hiss bishop
Play the Jobava london pls
