On the PC version these maps (this one and the snowy one) were set in Canada. At least, the road signs showed Kilometers an hour as opposed to miles. I'm no native English speaker, but are those Canadian accents I detect from the cops?
I played this game like 15 years ago for the last time. Honestly I have no idea about what you are saying, but I am pretty sure that if I play it now, I would realize much more details about it, such as km instead of mph. And yes, these landscapes are SO beautiful!!!
