I always noticed the car physics in the PS1 version are kinda wonky (for example, on the right at 1:51) but this was fixed in the PC version, which came out later
The game is top, sometimes I play on a laptop through an emulator. If you compare the PC version and ps, then in ps the bots and the police are much stronger and it is interesting to play with them, although the graphics are worse, but this game is good with such graphics.
I always knew the differences. The cops were so much more aggressive and intelligent. They had a much more brazen attitude since they only spoke to you through the megafone. While on PC they switched it to you havjng access to the police chatter which felt a lot more sterile.
I hope they Remaster this game be cool A modern-day NFS Hot pursuit 3 with Cheats everything online freeroam I hope it comes to ps4 Xbox one and PC Nintendo switch 😋 I have the game for PS1 AND PS2 but my ps2 quit working right
2010's Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit wasn't necessarily a remake, but was essentially a love-letter to this game, and was unofficially dubbed Hot Pursuit 3. Albeit, the free roam was consequence free and not online, sadly. 2014's NFS: Rivals was... kinda this? But tried way, WAY too hard to be gritty and edgy and had a pretty ass-backwards style of initializing race events and overall progression. It would definitely be cool to see this remastered, but with a much more massive roster of cars. I think a cool touch though would be only cars made before the year 2000 to keep with the era. Also, cheats are a big yes. Unforunately, we're getting NFS: Heat. Whatever the sweet hell that's gonna turn out to be. Fingers crossed it isn't another Payback.
PS1 version is much better than PC ver. Cop voices during pursuit and when catch you, no stupid anticop buble radar warning, no silly cop radio cheating.

I love this game! Brings back childhood memories
That corvette cop car...oh man. One of my all-time favorite sounds in a video game. Never got tired of it.
"You wont be so lucky next time, "next time is jail time" xD
Police: you can't escape!
Me: I'm not escaping I'm racing
my uncle had this game and i always would lose due to not being used to the dual screen action
Cool I love hot pursuit
Nobody's gonna complain about rain in the desert?
You think it doesnt rain in the desert?
sweatyDan I’ve been through the desert on a horse with no name, and it was good to be out of the rain.
@@Officer620 * it felt good to be out of the rain. It still rains in the desert from time to time.
sweatyDan you must be fun at parties. A real barrel of laughs

It was way better on PC as all games were in the late 90s.. I MEAN WAYYYYY BETTER>> But computers cost around 4K back then....
@Donald Tusk - przyszły kanclerz IV Rzeszy But have better car control, cockpit view, textures quality and lot of cars.

Most Wanted (2005) probably has the best of the bunch.
@@Krystalmyth MW cops were made of cardboard, the cops in the older games actually had weight in them
I wonder how a Landrover Discovery was ever able to catch up with a Chevrolet Corvette.. ? 🤔
Back when EA didn't make complete dogshit games.
Thanks !!!

Why the siren light is red and yellow? Makes no sense 🤔
These cars should not catch up the corvette like that... unless it's a caprice.
The reminds me of an Atari and a super nintendo
Iam streaming this game right now... sub to dont miss. :-)
