I once took TAS plays (in general) as a short cheap way to play a game. Since that was what I thought I kinda hated them but had a new respect for them about a month ago and I REALLY enjoy them now.
Requirements for the best ending are to simply play the game and avoid going into a boss room in Doppler Lab 2, I believe, as Zero. You would probably not know about it because by that point you're trained to not bother going in boss doors as Zero. If you DO go in, you have to fight that boss as Zero and he nearly dies, so he gives X the Z-Saber. The Z-Saber kills EVERY boss in 2 hits, but getting it causes the bad ending.
Its a recording of button presses that are applied to the game (as a ROM in an emulator). It isn't exactly a 'program' playing it... rather, a person played this game himself, using save states and playing at frame-by-frame speeds to ensure the maximum performance possible as allowed by the game itself. This is perfection, and completely POSSIBLE to do on the game. Of course, no human has such incredible speed or reaction time.
this is a TAS run meaning he did it all at possibly less than 10% speed and repeatedly until he got it all perfect. It could be segmented over months and strung into the video that you see above.

well technically, getting the saber makes the chronologically correct ending, because of the enemy that damages zero his buster gets damaged and doesnt get repaired till x5

Can't really compare TAS's and SDA's. SDA is human skill, whereas TAS shows what a run would look like with perfect reflexes. I guess with tons of practice, SDA can get close to TAS with enough segments. TAS is more like an art, can also show off a lot of weird things in a game that may not be so obvious.
the true ultimate armor would be to combine all the power ups x gets ever in any game and in lore. Take x 8 ultimate armor give him infinite we energy and add all of the previous armor sets powers to that and add previous boss power ups too and you have ultimate x

TAS runs is cheating i guess, but all of this is possible to do in the real game, it's just almost impossible to not make a mistake. the point of a TAS isn't to say "hey look what i did" it's more to see what's possible. and ya theres TAS speedruns because it's possible someone finds a better way to do something.

I played the Playstation version with Megaman X Collection on GC, and the game seemed to be a little faster (for example less lag on wall jumpings and such). Am I wrong ? I'd love to see a TAS of the Playstation version anyway :)

Dude, The Best ending is Getting Zero's Z-Saber when you kill Bit, Byte than kill Vile in the secret area with Neon Tigers weakness so instead of fighting Vile you fight a stupid insect with Zero. he gets damaged and gives X his Saber
isn't there a secret teleport to Vile Stage in Crush Crawfish stage. or is it part of getting the Zero's sword which is why it was skipped.. it's been around 3-4 years since I last played X's through.. so my memory is little hazy. =)

Also, though you might not have to be some God to put together a well-done TAS, it still takes a considerable amount of time and patience to put them together. I wouldn't say it's a completely talentless affair.
You shouldve watched the twitch 7 day speedrun funraiser for preventing cancer, Caleb the best megaman X player currently did it live on a super nintendo almost close to the world record so indeed it is possible and doable.
The buster upgrade capsule in Megaman X4 ( the one on the right). It makes the X buster incredibly overpowered. In fact, I'd say X4 had the best upgrades of all. Or maybe its the game itself that makes it seem that way...
Yup, hes cheating, but thats the whole point to TAS. if it makes you feel better its not really considered cheating since hes not really PLAYING the game, rather then telling the emulator what button to press during what frame.
So this video shows all bosses in order including capsules, And to obtain this legendary ending you can't get hit on the stage but that doesn't apply to the bosses. Is that just about the jist of it?

This is not the best ending. The best ending is to have defeated Bit, Byte, Vile, the Press Disposer, and Volt Kuragiel. You must also have obtained Zero's Saber.

I actually agree with you, Though I think X6 is a Worse Structured game, Megaman X3 was boring on SO many levels, and the music didn't help with that.

I think the common opinion is there are two ways to 100%, you can either save Zero (best ending) or get the saber.
