Well, the typical thing they do is put holy water in a beer. A typical Hunter doesn't refuse a free beer, especially from a trusted source like Bobby. Meaning if they DON'T take the beet, somethings up. But if they do, when they take a swig, the holy water burns them. Of course, this only works with demons, but demons have to be the most common threat so it works.
They kind of do, iirc. They've got all the stuff you use to test identity in a kit, and go thru it if they meet someone that they haven't seen in a long time. Haven't watched in ages tho, so I could be quite wrong
This was the first time dean returned from death . In later seasons they do the locking up in the room amongst other tests . I guess if kripke could do it over again , he would do some parts differently . They were very organised when it came to impersonating police , FBI etc . This series started in 2005 and almost 20 years later , it still is a good watch .
Every time they cut themselves for whatever reason, I always think “you could easily cut or stab yourself wayy less, and they should have a lot of scars base on how long they’ve been doing this crap”
