A few additional tips are to make it a routine procedure to have your GPS activated PRIOR to travel as this accomplishes two things: 1) If MOB is needed, it reduces the time necessary to mark the spot, and equally important is 2) The GPS accuracy will be optimized when MOB is needed as all available satellite positions will activated on your device.

I wonder if the newest update changed a few things. When I initiate the MOB , it doesn't automatically navigate to location just saves it. I manually have to navigate to saved location.

Can you write a step list to use the man overboard MOB mode?

Can I take last MOB and rename it as a saved location?
    As always thanks!

No MOB will always be its own location (vs. a saved location). You can navigate to it by going to the Last MOB, but you will not see it in your saved locations to rename it unless you save the coordinates / location separately. I hope that makes sense and helps.

I have the Garmin instinct solar. My phone is the Poco X3 (Chinese phone) the watch is working perfectly but it's not showing phone notifications like calls and text. Have you any ideal why? I think it could be a security settings on the phone but not sure

Maybe it’s because it’s some kind of „noname“ Phone, and that’s why it isn’t working with Garmin?

First of all Bluetooth should be turned on on you phone and on your watch so your phone could automatically connect to your watch before sending notifications.
Second, start Garmin Connect App on your phone, activate menu in top left corner, choose Settings -> Phone permissions and check that everything is on except maybe External storage option. So, Calendar, Contacts, Phone calls, SMS,...should be on.
Third, in your Garmin Connect App, activate menu in top left corner, choose Settings -> Notifications -> App Notification -> Turn on notifications for every App you want to receive on your Garmin watch or turn on "All applications" if you want to receive notifications from every single application on your phone.
That could be enough in most cases but if your phone have some custom notification settings in your PHONE SETTINGS MENU (not Garmin Connect App settings) under Notifications -> Connect App -> Allow notifications and check every single notification type and put it on. In my case everything in on and also in gentle mode. In Gentle mode notifications are silenced, you get notification sound but it is not displayed automatically on your phone and you can read it from notification panel on the top of the screen. If phone notifications are in gentle mode you will still receive complete notification on your watch. That is the way to go if you want them to be automatically displayed on your watch only.
All those instructions applies also to Music controls on your watch. Note that default music App must be started on your phone in order to control it from your watch. You can't start it from your watch but you can control it from your watch once it was started on your phone. Confirmation that control works is the name of the current song displayed on your watch.
      Hope that helps.
