- Nestled on the southern coast of Negros Island, Dauin is a small coastal town renowned for its rich marine biodiversity, pristine coral reefs, and mesmerizing underwater landscapes. Here, every dive is a voyage into a world of vibrant colors, intriguing marine life, and unparalleled natural beauty. Dauin boasts a plethora of dive sites, from muck diving to vibrant coral reefs.
Apo Island: A short boat ride away from Dauin, Apo Island is a marine sanctuary that teems with life. Expect to encounter sea turtles, schools of colorful fish, and spectacular coral formations. The highlight is the chance to swim alongside green sea turtles, which are abundant here.
Marine Life: Dauin's marine life is nothing short of spectacular. Expect encounters with a diverse range of species, including pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefish, colorful nudibranchs, blue-ringed octopuses, and an array of rare and exotic critters.
Coral Gardens: The coral gardens in parts of Dauin are a sight to behold. Vibrant hard and soft corals blanket the seafloor, providing shelter to an abundance of marine species. It's a photographer's paradise with opportunities for stunning underwater shots. Dauin is known for its excellent visibility, often exceeding 30 meters (100 feet) during peak dive seasons. Water temperatures are generally warm, ranging from 25°C to 30°C (79°F to 86°F).

Thank you for sharing your adventures! Dauin is just a 20-minute drive away from our place. How I wish I could explore the underwater like you did, but I'm just up to snorkeling.
At least try the scuba diving, it is so much fun, amazing activity. If you are in good health, there is no reason to not to scuba dive. Snorkeling is nice, but scuba diving is much better.
Muck diving in Dauin is the best!
What depths of water are you diving in?
Hi! On this trip the maximum depth was around 30m. However we stayed around 20m for the most part!
