I don't know how I missed this video... I know it's an old video but just had to comment on the amount of sweet little old men as game attendants!!! I know I'm weird but I love little old ladies and little old men just as much as babies.... A LOT of people hate them but I just adore 'em... soooo adorable IMO!!!

If y'all ever come here, park at Patriot Park at traffic light 7. Take the trolleys there to Dollywoods front door. Very little wait, air conditioned, no walking, cost 1$ each way.
Dollywood parking is $25!! Then, you have to wait and walk plus fight to get into their parking lot, too.
Check Trip Advisor before you visit.
We stay by Patriot Park and take the trolley into Dollywood! We’ve done that twice, very handy!
Dollywood has the best games and prizes. My personal favorite is the water gun racer. And I remember all the prizes I ever won at Dollywood. I had a green gorilla, a purple octopus, a round pig, and a giant green crayon.
Haven’t been to dolly wood since I was a child… such a cool place to visit. Thanks for another great video

I live almost on top of Dollywood. She sold the vast majority of the parks to Herscend entertainment several years ago. She does get millions a year for her branding and promo.
Herscend owns many amusement complexes.
We still adore Dolly. She does so much for so many.

Yes! Seems like they can focus on games and don’t have to worry about cash handling, it seems to work really well!
We had season passes when growing up back in the 90’s and it was nothing like it is now LoL. I haven’t been in probably 18 years but I’ve seen videos on all the recent changes and it seems more like a modern amusement park where as when we were kids it seemed like a place to reminisce in good ole country lifestyles. It was before the water park and all that
They still have a lot of the same buildings actually! Sections of the park are very new, but there is still a significant amount of the park that is more traditional. We think they do a good job blending it. Now, we didn’t visit the water park so no idea on that!
@@WinnerEveryTime That’s actually really good news!! I e only seen videos on all the new additions to the park so it’s hard to see the original stuff. I am sad they got rid of the short tunnel that the walkway went through cause that was one thing I remember from my teenage years
Yes it does seem they’ve improved some walkways and pathways, but that makes sense. We enjoyed the traditional elements!
