    It must be considered as part of a constitutional framework that the scope of presidential power is to be bound in respect to the limitations and restraints as imposed upon him by the Constitution. I agree with William Howard Taft because he knew that the emanation of president's mandate is from the Constitution, not from the people, which the latter may produce a demagogic spirit that would become as an argument for those who are supportive of a parliamentary system as to why presidents are stewards of the popular will and tend to obstruct the work of congress.
    In my opinion, I say that the president must be an impartial officeholder, knowing the explicit bounds of his mandate as the exerciser of the power of the sword and the power of the pen to issue directives, enshrining Jackson's Youngstown framework as the basis of restructuring the presidency, and, after winning an election, must resign his political affiliation, in order to make the president as a figure above politics.

      @@sharmintania2827 I think of it as a collection of vague provisions. it lacks teeth regarding the limitations and accountability of presidential power.
