Hi about the oil warning after oil service 7'20 . I had the issue twice as well here in Germany and the mechanic explained it BMW has a kind of intranet system where they tell the recommended quantity of oil to add in the scooter to the dealers during service.... and there is a mistake in the quantity which they advise to the mechanic when they have to refill. All you need to do is to add a little more (10 dc liter/ expresso coffee cup) yourself or ask the dealer to add a little more and the yellow engine warning light will go. It happens to me every time and I always forget to remind the dealer about it. The dealer will just follow the rule. No one at BMW fixed the info in the intranet so far.

Wow what a fantastic place you live in the mountains wow. Where is this?
And what a brilliant review 👏 I'm getting my bmw c650gt in a few weeks time never rode one before
    All ways had hondas
    And a gilera gp800
Aprilia srv 850. But now I want safety abs/ traction control!!! Ive been reading some of the comments and someone's said that this bikes very expensive to service!!!!!! I'm a bit worried now as the deals done! My end! I probably should have looked in to this and owning a aprilia! There more to service than honda bikes. How much is this going to cost service wise! Also in the UK 🇬🇧 the front brake is the right on all bikes?
Is yours the opposite front brake the left hand cos your in the USA.
    Many thanks Dan

I am in Utah, ya the rear brake is on the right, the first service cost me just under 500$ the oil changes you can do yourself I'll probably do the 6,000 mile service myself but I am still debating on the 12,000 mile service weather I'll pay to have it done or do it myself. Definitely a great bike, just the services are a little expensive.

just wanted to say i have the same bike...its a good bike, and every expensive to service...my bike is a 2019 and i really like it but am thinking about trading it in on a Can Am Spyder RT Limited...Enjoy ur bike...and be careful...ive dropped my bike 8 times since i had it and each time expect on time...i had my brother with me to help me pick it up....am only 5.8 and 150 lbs...so am not that strong to pick it up bye myself...plus it doesnt get good gas milage for me. i fill up every week at least when it get 1/2 tank. i just did my 12000 miles service after 3 1/2 years of ownership and it cost me over $1200. Well enjoy !!...cheers...2021 was the last year BMW made this bike.

Hello sir. I also recognize the problem with the error message of the oil light on the dashboard since May 2016. The BMW dealer in the Netherlands was also unable to solve the problem. Since then I add 100 cc of engine oil to the crankcase myself. The error message disappeared with that and now I get the message "Oil OK".

Google the specs. I found it on the bmw website 60 hp.
