It may be months, or even years since your loss, and yet grief remains much longer than we're willing to admit. If we try to rush through our grief, stuff it down, or ignore it, it simply remains dormant - waiting for a time and place when it can be expressed. Grief is a long-term process.
Grief ART is all about the PROCESS. The goal isn't to create a beautiful, perfect masterpiece as soon as possible. The goal is to take time to slow down, and focus on your feelings and thoughts as you create. The final product is just a bonus!

In this video, we'll learn from a modern Japanese artist who also embraces PROCESS. His name is Motoi Yamamoto, and he also creates in a way that helps him express his own loss. Then, you're invited to create your own process art inspired by his style.
    You'll need:
    -Paintbrushes (thin preferred)
    -Watercolors (tubes or a pallet)
    -Water cup
    -Paper towel
-Liquid glue (Elmer's school glue is best for the fine tip)
-Sea salt (coarse grain is best)
-*Printed PDF template (print on white card stock or watercolor paper for best results)
    *FREE Printable Template: danicatheartist.com/project-gr...
    IMPORTANT NOTE:
Project takes TWO short sessions, to allow glue to dry in-between.

Oh wow, that's so awesome how Motoi involves his audience in the process and gives them an opportunity to engage in grief and release...
