    I got another hack, where you double store, use cling wrap to separate it helps it get less messy

  • @bernicempey

    For me I think containers occupy too much space in the freezer.so I use freezer bags and label them.
    I remove a night before and put in the fridge to thaw.When Im doing the batch cooking I don't completely cook the meal.so that when I'm heating up it will complete the cooking

    When putting the smaller container in the larger one, try placing cling film on the other meal before submerging the other one. It makes it easier to separate while defrosting

    am a batch cook too even though i live by myself , cos of my busy schedule i love to plan a head ..anyway i find to de-freeze or warm the food the best option is using an oven ...to put it back to the pot the stove isn't ideal for me because it tends to overcook the food just my two cents

    • @alanpierrers
      @alanpierrers 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      She did address this matter on one of her videos saying that if they foods are well frozen in the deep freezer, even if the power goes off for 3 days, they won't go bad as long as you don't open the freezer that much.
      And we know the power can't go out that long.
      Hope this helps.

    Hey.
    This is a nice video. Just a question. Do you have an alternative source of power?
    Like a solar freezer of sorts🧐. Coz here in Uganda sometimes power can go off for the whole day. What would happen to the one month meal

      Great question! If food is frozen solid in the freezer, it should keep well even without power for a few days. Just avoid opening and closing the fridge unnecessarily. ☺️☺️

      I live in Kampala. A deep-freezer can keep.ypur food safely frozen for over 24 hours as long as you keep that freezer shut. Been batch cooking for close to 10 years. It works wonders and I rely on Umeme
