@@PfizerBioNTech5G Hi, I do believe I did, 1975 at 18 music switched from pop music to Disco music, then 5yrs later into the 80s, along came HI NRG music, which was something else. Of course you still danced to the chart music. Sounds old fashion but my mother taught me how to jive , waltz, etc so I was lucky in that respect as well. This song and "Me and I" were the pre cursor to where ABBA were headed on "The Visitors" album and the new songs on "Singles: The First Ten Years" ...that new wave synth sound!!! Amazing!
My mother installed a cassette deck stereo in her '77 Plymouth Horizon and the only music she played were Abba's. My brothers and I knew the words to most of their songs. When my mom would pick us up from school, we'd all be singing the song that was currently playing in her stereo and having a great time. I was 7 years old. Thanks mom!
Este hit es maravilloso digno para las discos aún en esta época porque no envejece gracias ABBA!!! QUEREMOS MÁS VIDEOS POR FAVOR!! I HAVE A DREAM PLEASE!!! ❤️🇵🇾
It certainly is manipulative, and reeks (just like the entire song) of deep-seated psychological problems and low self-esteem. Psychology is fun, isn't it?
No one sounds like ABBA, they have a sound that can not be copied. Even artists like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones have artists that sound similar, but no one sounds like Abba. I will say tho that Middle Of The Road sounds like early ABBA, not as good as ABBA but songs like Soley Soley and Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep sound like they could be ABBA songs from 1972-1974
The only group who can really claim similar is Queen. Those two are complete one-offs, never to be repeated, and the very pinnacle of pop/rock music before its artistry succumbed to corporate greed and cookie-cutter commercialism.

I'm middle Eastern and have just recently discovered ABBA, they have great music honestly
This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard
23 when this came out, dancing the night away on the disco floor under the glitter ball, now at 67 this is still one of my most favourite songs. Brings back so many happy memories. 😊
You are lucky
How lucky, you lived the BEST age of music 🤍
@@PfizerBioNTech5G Hi, I do believe I did, 1975 at 18 music switched from pop music to Disco music, then 5yrs later into the 80s, along came HI NRG music, which was something else. Of course you still danced to the chart music. Sounds old fashion but my mother taught me how to jive , waltz, etc so I was lucky in that respect as well.
I still jive now with my friend Carol in the local on music events.
But I was always happy dancing the night away under the glitter ball doing my own thing. 😂 cheers 🍻
@@peterward3965 Ur 67? Arent you suppose to be in nursery home or sumn?
@@zhayne_14kool how very rude, , plenty of life in me still. At least I've made pension age, many don't.

Countless masterpieces by ABBA
I'm 30 years old but i really love Abba's music from the 70' and the 80's. This is my favorite song from Abba because everything about this song is perfect.
True, this song is a big masterpiece to me and I'm just a teen

@@aram226 30years old too and absolutely my favorite karaoke song, even if i suck at singing :D
This song made a huge come back also anyone in 2024?
Forever❤❤❤ Iconic & Classic
This song and "Me and I" were the pre cursor to where ABBA were headed on "The Visitors" album and the new songs on "Singles: The First Ten Years" ...that new wave synth sound!!! Amazing!
My mother installed a cassette deck stereo in her '77 Plymouth Horizon and the only music she played were Abba's. My brothers and I knew the words to most of their songs. When my mom would pick us up from school, we'd all be singing the song that was currently playing in her stereo and having a great time. I was 7 years old. Thanks mom!
My 62-year-old father inherited his love for ABBA to me during his lifetime... and I thank him and love him.
lovely memories
Another masterpiece that was discovery by the new generation and go viral 🛐🛐
:)
@serena🍊 BOT DETECTED
I mean its the cycle of songs pretty much. Old songs get discovered and then go viral.
*This song aged like a fine wine, the older the better*
Este hit es maravilloso digno para las discos aún en esta época porque no envejece gracias ABBA!!! QUEREMOS MÁS VIDEOS POR FAVOR!! I HAVE A DREAM PLEASE!!! ❤️🇵🇾
ABBA is universal ❤
My favourite Abba track EVER
This is my second, first is super trouper.

This song always gets me up dancing. It's a classic
"Dont go wasting your emotion, lay all your love on me" is one of the hardest lines ever written 😤👌

@@mireya_u8u i wonder why BECUASE OF YOUR FUcKING USERNAME
It certainly is manipulative, and reeks (just like the entire song) of deep-seated psychological problems and low self-esteem. Psychology is fun, isn't it?
ABBA's out-of-this-world sense of melody and killer rhythms created wonders like this one!
I breathe this song! ❤ cannot wait to see the 80s aesthetic of this video. I LIVE for the 80s and ABBA
Uh....there will not be another video, is not like actual artists that launch first the lyric video and later the official video.
I think of ABBA more as a 70's band. That's when most of their music was created.
@M Y T H I C A L N O V A they don't make videos anymite. They sre launching these lyrics videos as a way to refresh their catalog
Abba was the best option in my life as a 15 year old
No one sounds like ABBA, they have a sound that can not be copied. Even artists like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones have artists that sound similar, but no one sounds like Abba.
I will say tho that Middle Of The Road sounds like early ABBA, not as good as ABBA but songs like Soley Soley and Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep sound like they could be ABBA songs from 1972-1974
Yeah thats true
They've set the standards so high that only them can reach
Almost an angelical chorus , their immaculate voice mix was, is, and I think Will never be equaled. ABBA for ever❤
That's mainly because the lead singers are women it's a very unique sound, and I love it. 😘😀
The only group who can really claim similar is Queen. Those two are complete one-offs, never to be repeated, and the very pinnacle of pop/rock music before its artistry succumbed to corporate greed and cookie-cutter commercialism.
