Awesome fans are these 1990's HBs specially with long canopy. The 2002 CKb new breeze is a proved junk like similar aged summer series of orient CKb.

This even consumes less as well...65w...and high efficiency consumes 50w.so both actually give good air and consume less...whereas h.s. consumes 70w but wins due to greater air velocity so both actually have their own benefits...one is steady and other is instant

I come again and again to hear that 3rd HB's magnificent sound. My 70s one's does have a hum at starting and then woo woo woo sound at its full speed. These fans are the best in its class and better than those other 18p and 16p fans of Orient, Polar, Usha ETC. Crompton's 18pole and 16pole were the best sounding machines because all HB had exact same sound but 12pole HS had different sound per piece. Whatever might be , there lived a legend!

@@neil.v3235 Yes that video was uploaded after you uploaded the video of polar windchill. Crompton's 18pole motors in 70s had an increasing humming sound at starting caused by starting coil and vanishes . When its in full speed , a low pitched sound comes from the running coil.

@@neil.v3235 Awesome it was! I don't feel that the first 5 mins were bad. Its like a person having his time with his old great friend! The fan is awesome and you shouldn't delete the restoration of this gem! that sound seems like something is rubbing against each other. My 70s HB had slight rubbing noises but I found that if the upper cover is not perfect fit then these sounds will surely come. Your fan is more powerful than mine. Don't use m seal because it will start turning to power like substance after many years , so welding is better.
