A lot of factors weigh in. Is the trading you’re talking about, is it trading in futures & options & infra day then you’ve to get audited in case you want claim your loss.
Thanks Vivek for an informative session. I want to clarify about the short term capital gain tax on equity. Does the capital gain of 15% is applicable irrespective of an individual taxable income ?
Yes Irrespective of anything, if your profit is from short term capital gains (profits from stocks which were in a holding position of more than 1 day and less than 1 month), you need to pay only 15% of it as tax. Simply put, swing trading gains - 15%, day trading gains - 37%, long term capital gains - 0%
@@noobgamers6903 but when I check in zerodha tax p/l swing trade profit shown as short term capital gain and quiko through zerodha can be used for tax paying so I guess we have to pay short term only because income tax how many transactions will they track there are crores transactions also I guess chance of short term gain being added in business income is seen in btst if u do regularly but swing trading I don’t think so it is considered
One doubt is irrespective of the category such as Intra day, short / long etc earnings of the individuals total income if crosses 2.5 / 5 lac etc.. then only this 10%, 15% taxable slab arises or even if the total earnings from short team investment is say only 3.5 lac then also this 15% is applicable irrespective of total income less than 5 lac or how is it ? considering the person don't have any other income apart form interest form FDs.

Nice, question for salaried income if for the fiscal year there was Speculative / Non Speculative net loss does this has to be deducted from salary income or this has to be carry forward in future to offset Speculative / Non Speculative gains?
Kitna tax denge. Tax de de kar barbaad ho chuke he. Sala kuch bhi karo tax. Loss hone se income tax department paisa deta he kya, agar profit hua toh tax dete he, loss hone se dia hua tax ko return dena chahiye. Loss carry forward hota he ye kya hisab he. Phir se investment karne keliye paisa hoga toh carry forward karenge paisa hi nahi hoga toh carry forward ka koi matlab hi nahi.

Vivek, My trading turnover is much more than 5 cr but I am making huge loses. Is there any requirement for audit? can you advise. Thanks
Let me get back to you
according to me, PROFIT or LOSS In absolute terms when added, if that exceeds tax audit turnover limit, then audit is required
A lot of factors weigh in. Is the trading you’re talking about, is it trading in futures & options & infra day then you’ve to get audited in case you want claim your loss.
yes
Very very informative video Vivek Sir.i am a stockedge premium member.God bless you and your family Sir.

Thanks Vivek for an informative session. I want to clarify about the short term capital gain tax on equity. Does the capital gain of 15% is applicable irrespective of an individual taxable income ?
Can someone please reply on this?
Yes
Irrespective of anything, if your profit is from short term capital gains (profits from stocks which were in a holding position of more than 1 day and less than 1 month), you need to pay only 15% of it as tax. Simply put, swing trading gains - 15%, day trading gains - 37%, long term capital gains - 0%
Typo-Less than 1 year* not month
if you treat as business income then as per income slab. Otherwise flat rate of 15%.
A very informative video which cleared many doubts. Thanks!

Sir if we reinvest our profit in market only without withdraw a single profit then also we have to pay tax?
Yes sir. I also have the same question. Pl reply.
Yes sell krte hi capital gain mna jayega and PAN ke through trace hojayega to tax pay krna pdega

Important question.
Stock me investment se Tax relief nhi deti government but agar Taxed money se aap stock market se kuch earn ker lo to government ko paisa chahiye.....😭😭.... Thank you for clearing doubts🙏

Agar koi 5 lacs kamata hai intraday pe 10 months mai lekin saal khatm hote hote woh 5 lacs loss ho gaya toh ve kya tex dena hoga
Yes according to tax slab income more than 2.5 lac is taxable income
Thank you sir, now I cleared confusion about tax on shares. Thank you 🙏.

Nice, question for salaried income if for the fiscal year there was Speculative / Non Speculative net loss does this has to be deducted from salary income or this has to be carry forward in future to offset Speculative / Non Speculative gains?

@@VivekBajaj Hi Vivek, were you able to find out?
excellently articulated
We are ready to pay income tax, but the problem is it will go in to politician pockets
Ri8
ye v thik h
Kitna tax denge. Tax de de kar barbaad ho chuke he. Sala kuch bhi karo tax. Loss hone se income tax department paisa deta he kya, agar profit hua toh tax dete he, loss hone se dia hua tax ko return dena chahiye. Loss carry forward hota he ye kya hisab he. Phir se investment karne keliye paisa hoga toh carry forward karenge paisa hi nahi hoga toh carry forward ka koi matlab hi nahi.

This is my main issue as well. spending on statues, luxury aircrafts when millions are forced to go hungry and travel on foot for miles is just unfair.

Although you explained very well sir yet I have a problem,I bought two stocks and sell those stocks at a profit of 4000/- and 6000/- respectively, and with that money I bought other stocks,So I want to ask three questions
(1):now if my portfolio is giving loss to me means overall profit is negative then I have to pay 15% tax or not on my profit
(2):- profit demat account se bank account mai transfer kar lene k baad tax lagta hai ya demat account mai profit ho raha hai to uspar bhi tax lagega, kuki account mai to aaj profit hai kal loss bhi ho sakta hai.
(3)agar hum koi stock profit mai sell karke amount bank account mai transfer kar le tab tax lagta hai ya profit mai sell karke usi money se new stock buy karne par bhi profit par tax lagega
Plz reply sir
I’m confused very much about the tax
For a better understanding on your taxation system it's advisable to meet a CA before you file your IT return.

Sir I've earned 85+k in 40 days I'm a swing trader, my turnover has crossed 90 lakh. What will be the tax slab rate of my income? Please anyone answer my question?
10 lakh plus 30% plus cess
@@Sivanshu_sahay Knowledge nahi to zyan kyu dete ho bhai . Tax calculated on total income not on turnover. If he earned only 85k than why he need to pay 30 Percent tax
well explained....Thanks, Shared this video among a group of active investors/traders.
