I’ll say it again, Roman is a beast his attitude is excellent, this man needs to have his own business!!!
Needs an H1-B Visa to go to Greencard. Someone like Cole to sponsor. My opinion
I think...at the very least...from "the look"(12:28) that Roman gave Cole after doing all this days digging/burying that Cole might want to "cough up" at the very least ...a 🌽⭐️ Farms hoodie and tee shirt, even though Roman offered him a bite of whatever he was eating...just sayin'...
B-t-w...happy birthday to Momma CS!... and where is Justin? You are an excellent gofur Cole!!😂
He announced awhile ago that he's now a n American citizen.
@@racheld8843 Congratulations 🇺🇸 Roman!
@@racheld8843 do you know where Roman is from originally?
I don’t think it’s possible for Roman to be any more adorable and charming!!😊
Roman taking a pie break cracked me up, lol!
Roman is a fantastic addition to your project. He may have the best attitude and work ethic I have ever seen from any individual! What ever it takes I would keep him around as long as possible.
I keep telling my husband, that I wish that we had a friend like Roman! He is a superlative, intelligent, worker!!!
For the #1 ranked 155 lb arm wrestler in the USA, digging all those trenches is a light workout for Roman.
My husband asks me every morning - DO WE HAVE ANY COLE TODAY?? It is the highlight of our day. We enjoy Cole, Juston and Roman so much. The antics these guys go through on a day to day basis keeps us very amused. I think the basement will be getting a pour soon. Can’t wait!!!
What ever you are paying Roman it's not enough! Roman deserves a raise.
I watch a _LOT_ of youtube, and I think I'm more excited to see this project finished than just about anything else I've seen in quite a while...
Same…
he's milking it so bad now 😂 like just get on with it...this plumbing stuff is kinda boring
@@MihailBFC ya but it's part of the story of the build
Cole you are very fortunate to get to hang out with your best buddy
and accomplish SO much work. Cole you also WORK like a dog, long
Long days . Much respect to you and your wife. Roman is just incredible
Is family is blessed to have him .
Oh, Roman, you are the icing always on these videos…..such a wonderful friend to Cole
I appreciate the talking parts. I talk a lot and you still don't talk as much as me 😂 so ignore anyone who wants you to "a little less talk and a lot more action". You made this channel, you got your popularity by doing exactly what you're doing ❤
Totally agree! You’re the CORNSTAR for a reason! ❤🙏🏻
Agreed! The haters can watch something else.
I like all of the explanations of the how too’s , I love learning..
❤❤❤
Amen..you guys are awesome.
❤❤❤
❤❤❤
Actually he did talk less a year ago.
You both work so hard. Roman seems to know how to do everything asked of him. Not only a great friend, but encyclopedic knowledge. Next, Roman's house. I'm sure he needs help with that chicken coop. Very proud of you and Roman, and Justin having patience, teaching you what every step is for, why and how. Just remember, in the beginning, you were good for demolition and clean up. But, you learned along the way. Just think how much money you saved doing the plumbing and radon mitigation system yourselves. Yes, it took a bit, but you know what you did, why, and how. Your children will be able to watch your videos and see you making their home. 😊❤
Agreed! Roman is smart, experienced, and a great attitude also. He’s never a grouch and 100% on the job.
I highly recommend washer and dryer on the second floor. In fact, designate two areas. One for now near master (connection master closet) and then another you can install later for the kids to do their own laundry. I had that in our dream house and it was awesome. We also installed built in laundry sorter using heavy duty drawer slides. We had: colored clothes, whites, and towels sorters directly across from the front loaders. On top of the sorters was a folding table.
Laundry room as close to the master as possible is a total WIN!!!
Until the washer springs a leak and floods the second floor and all the floors below it. It will eventually make it to the basement drains. Found out the hard way. It's in the basement now.
@@farmtruck9885 that’s why you put a drain in the floor and tile it sloping toward the drain.
@@farmtruck9885Drain pan with drain line. Had it upstairs in three houses, no problems.
@@bethcervenka1813 That would work if it was just leaking but the stainless steel hose let loose at the fitting, wasn't pretty.
I love Romans's work ethic. Cole's, too it is nice to see young people doing what you guys do.
where we live all you do for radon is put a 4” pipe so the end of it is below the concrete, run the pipe up in the attic, put a blower on it and run the pipe up thru the roof. The blower slowly sucks air from under the concrete slab.
You've got to be killing it at Menard's with the 11% rebate! Way to go Cole! It just covers the sales tax in my town. I'm ready to see some concrete poured and some drywall going on upstairs! Are you going to make it in by Christmas? Love your family and your videos. Wish I could be a friend like Roman. You are blessed!
Roman Rulz,
Watch out Cole ,he's a star in the making.
After the house is finished, I'd be keeping Roman employed on & around the farm. (Unless he starts his own bussiness) ,
as he is such a great guy / worker .
Respect....!
I wish you were both my sons. Then I could say " come help Momma". Lord knows I need your skills for our house. My son is autistic and he's wonderful but ... I am very happy for you and your Family just the same.
LOL Roman just standing there eating pie! 😂😂😂
I’m disappointed. I thought it would be Matt’s Victory Pie.
😂
The SOUND EFFECT- crunch! Didn’t fool me, I knew it wasn’t salad.
He needs one pie every day to keep his strength up!
@@Rgj_j who’s Matt?
Cole, look at the bright side!! You've got the only beach front property in Iowa!!
I used to work hard like Roman, but I worked hard because when I stopped, I just wanted to go home to be with my wife and kids. So the harder I worked the less I thought about home basically. Also I enjoyed being able to get things done. It's a great feeling.
I love that old sink. Can it be cleaned up and reused? If not usable, I would use it as historical basement/backyard decor. Roman is hilarious! Cole and Roman have a great chemistry, and it makes these videos so enjoyable. Kinda miss seeing Juston.
Thank you for the video. I echo all compliments for Roman. He's an absolute beast. I didn't know many could out work you, Cole. I was wrong. Roman steps up to the plate, then bam!! Grand slam!! The two of you are unstoppable! Add in Justin, and you have a dream team!
Best home remodeling show, documentary I have ever seen. You include most of the little details that others leave out and all of the hard work involved in doing it. I get tired just watching you guys work. LOL! Can't wait to see the end result. Good luck and God bless you and your family.
Roman is a man of few words but those words speak volumes.
Roman is absolutely incredible!😊
Oh laundry on both floors! What a dream. Not full up, maybe stackable apartment size for emergency children clothes, crib sheets, etc.
I love how you address this topic with such honesty.
I love how these bots are always so kind lol
It’s crazy 😮how fast we all click to watch!
Cole,I really like the way you explain what you're doing and why you're doing it. It's very informative like I said before you're like a teacher.❤😊
Oh yeah, comment to the editor- liked seeing the lake get suck up. And Roman looked like a horse pawing at the ground ( at the end of the video) he’s getting some comfortable being filmed now. I like it!
Love watching you two. Roman makes it all look easy. Cole You are the brains behind it all. You have a really good worker and friend in Roman. Thanks Guys! God Bless. Hugs, Rebekah
Agreed! Roman SHOWS UP no matter the circumstances or difficulty of the job! His positive attitude shines! friends and family are proud I’m sure.
I check EVERY night waiting for Cornstar. I never get tired of this restoration. Greetings from South Louisiana
Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. My favorite channel by far.
Don't forget venting for basement plumbing love your content 😊
Roman, you finally got a Corn Star shirt. I guess you’re part of the family now.
I will miss the lone basement toilet.
Roman is a charismatic genius.
And I like turtles.
Funny how your lake was 1. Superior, then 2. Erie and lastly 3. Superior again - made me smile😉
The first one was Atlantic Ocean at 0:17 - I just went back to make sure.
Cole on your redon system you need to put in a fresh air intake. If you do not when the fan try's to suck air out it will only draw a vacuum and not draw out the bad air.
You don't put a fresh intake on radon. It only pulls air from the negative pressure soil pit.
Totally loving these videos! Roman is a great guy. Juston seems to know his stuff. Cole, you seem to be taking it all in and learning new things everyday! Best wishes for you and your family!
roman should get his own channel doing DIY stuff
When I watch Roman I think about the expression, “Work smarter, not harder”. Roman does both he works smarter and harder. Hope to learn more about his family too. I’m glad to see the Radon reduction work you’re doing Cole. It’s a real problem and I’ve known some of its victims.
Helpful tip, when gluing PVC you should be sanding both surfaces before primer. when pressing the two pieces together you should be turning one of them at least a quarter turn.
😂 say your not a plumber without saying. You don’t sand the pipe 🙄🤦🏻♂️
@@kevink4914 I think you meant to say you don't sand the pipe. I work with PVC for 40 years in California Arizona and Utah every job and everyone I've ever worked with sands everywhere they are going to put primer and glue. I guess you could be right and everywhere I've ever worked and everyone I've ever worked with is wrong, good for you. Oh yeah I suppose you're not supposed to turn the pipe about a quarter of a turn to evenly distribute the glue, right?.
@@jimda4910 I've never seen anyone ever sand PVC pipe. That PVC dust in California probably causes cancer.
Farming is a daunting amount of work, so I would say everyone demonstrates a high standard of work, and no fear in learning along the way. You are all inspiring and remind me that I can take good care of my home, and get to it when jobs need doing.
Roman is a BEAST!!!
Best series on TH-cam, hands down 👏
The wire on the sewer pipe is a really neat idea
Can you share any of the cost of this remodel? I thought since you were telling the finances of the farm you might give an insight to the finances of the remodel.
I hope you clean up that little sink and use that in your basement. That is so neat.😊
Yessss! That’s a great sink♥️
He will throw it in trash and buy new. Money or debt is no concern to him.
If you've ever have to auger a main line you soon realize clean outs should be via a Y and not a T, not code but should be. These guys are the apprentice plumbers every company looks for.💪👍
im sure you know this already and i prob look like a fool for backseating here but... I hope you guys are gonna put some plastic down over the gravel, and tape it up. That creates the barrier that forces the radon into the pipes for venting!
I love reading comments. People are so knowledgeable, it’s great
You guys are a riot. Love watching you hack away away at this project! LOL. The misadventure with PVC pipe gluing is classic.
Roman is such a meek, mild-mannered Clark Kent type. love these videos.
Roman finally got his cornstar farms merch!!
I love the way you guys can switch gears on the fly.
Roman eating pie against the wall is a mood and I’m here for it😂😂. You two got a good bit of work done on this episode. Progress!
Recommend putting teflon tape or soft set pipe dope on those clean out caps to help keep from gasses or water coming out.
I want a Roman, does he have a twin 😂😂😂 love his work ethic
The wire one the tubes was new ro me-thanks for sharing that. I learned something new again today.
Roman is so funny! He is such a good worker!
Power miter makes a mighty good chop saw for your pvc. Nice clean square cuts. That's hard to do on a round pipe free hand. Won't ruin a good carbide blade. Don't forget to vent. One main 3" right away. Oh, and Romullus is indeed a might man.
Yay, Been waiting on you to have a video today. I love you guy's!❤
Roman deserves a HUGE 💲💰💲RAISE❗❗❗
Hey now, Lake Superior is not that muddy!! 😂
I was wondering about finding the sewer pipes under the concrete. That answers my question, thank you for the sound effects I now know what the locator will sound like. 😉
Nice Lake Erie sound effects.
Thanks for the shout out to Lake Erie. Just 2 blocks from where I sit watching you from Lorain OHIO…..yes Buckeye country.
Love watching you and Roman working side by side. Roman is a hard worker for sure!
I can't get enough of the remodel ... love it
Good thing that Roman is on the payroll. Every time you say, let's Roman starts working. The green wire is called tracer wire.
I'm really glad that in Germany we have tubes with built-in rubber seals. So we do not need to glue those pipes and we can adjust the angles. 🤔
And we have lids to temporarily close the tubes to prevent something falling in.
I wonder if the closed loop (T connection) in the radon mitigation system is efficient. 🤔 Maybe an in/out line would have been an alternative.
I just don't get where the air is supposed to come from that goes through the vent.
Be sure and put some type of permanent label/tag on the guide wire where you hook up to it. Someday someone may think it’s just a useless wire that use to connect to something, etc. Make and laminate an information tag for the future. I’d do the same for the Radon pipe going up the wall. Both are well thought out solutions but not usual and highly likely to just be yanked if not explained by a label or tag. Love the relationship you and Roman have.
Roman-That guy doesn’t ever sit idle.
It is amazing how video editing works.
I'm busting my butt at work right now and told myself to take a break and check your channel. I got a ring of sweat around my neck and it's time to cool off.
Awesome video Cole and Roman.
Roman working on that Christmas Bonus. 😂😂 lol
I'm willing to bet Roman gets some job offers before this job is finished. You had better get him signed with a good 5 year contract before some other team moves in and signs him up. Looks like you are about ready to put in a floor, unless you plan on a water pipe or two under there.
Take care, have fun,
jack
Always an adventure, so cool, fun, and interesting to watch projects being thought up and pushed through. Good work gentlemen.
Great idea putting the green wire on all the drain pipe for future location!
You are truly blessed have great friends and help you get this house remodeled it's truly a blessing Cole.🤓🙏🏻
Wow you fellows are amazing…..plumbing now,and all the other talent that you have! I’m amazed at all that you two can do! What a blessing your talents are! Love Rocky ✝️❤️👍✝️❤️👍✝️❤️👍✝️❤️👍
Roman is a hard worker you are blessed
I love how you explain everything because I have learned so much
no vent line from floor drains cya when you dig that back up!
I like the talking. I have also learned to like Roman. I am glad I kept watching. 👍
Well done boys.
Great job, I really enjoy how much forward planning you have put into the renovation.
A pro tip that I would like to share with you is. We use a glue gun to secure of wires to pipe as it seems to be alittle more durable plus time efficient. We seem to find many useful time savers with our glue gun. We get to glue sticks at craft store super cheap..
I hope this might help you in the future. Continue success.
Love how natural and funny you two are❤😊
I thought you said Lake Superior! I live two blocks from Lake Superior. In the Upper Peninsula of Michigan on the western end of the Upper Peninsula.
Very cool time lapse draining the lake.
These videos are so O so good 😊
You must hear the menards jingle in your sleep you're there so often! But when you turn all those rebate forms it's gonna be like hitting a jackpot! Keep up the good work gents love your channel 🤙
Cole? I live in Cleveland...Lake Erie isn't gone, my friend!
At least it isn't on fire... :)
I haven't lived in Ohio for 20 years and I still hear that Menard's jingle every time you go there.
15 minutes! Fastest find of the newest video for me👍🏼
Hope yer planning on vents for your plumbing fixtures... would hate for ya to have done all of this work and stuff drain slowly because of no vents.
Glad you’re dealing with Radon. Silent killer. Well done!
🎉 how about setting some of that rain our way to Pennsylvania. The yards are brown and crunchy.
Locator wire is great. Works for LP gas lines too
