i grew up in Minnesota. I was a teenager when I first went to the mall in Dec 1992. I have been going there ever since. I love going to the smaller stores. My husband and I were sad when Best Buy decided to leave the mall.
Wow memories! I remember being a kid and going to circuit city with my parents lol. It’s cool to see how history changes but is still standing today, and busy still.
I was there in 96 i think had planet Hollywood hooters and a simulator dinosaur. Like star tour s was kinda like a snoopy land a log ride i thing. And i think they were just at the beginning stages of the aquarium
I live about 20 minutes from the mall. My family used to think I was insane because I would go there on black friday and knock out all of my christmas shopping in one day. Favorite thing there honestly is just walking around and people watching, otherwise the restaurant Crave which I didn't realize until recently is a Minnesota based restaurant, I always assumed it was a chain.

The rainforest cafe is still there. We were going to go but wanted to explore more and grab quick food. Hahaha that would be a phone that would definitely last a life time! 🤣 The rides are definitely smoother than what we all grew up with at any amusement park.

I was at the Mall of America about 20 years ago. Ate at the Rainforest Cafe.
It’s still there, and thriving as ever. We didn’t eat there as no options for us but our friends eat there every time they go.
