Regardless of the outcome, you are still the top roller in my books 😁❤️ you did everything you normally do and some…. it was just one of those things that unfortunately made it more difficult for you to get the outcome you normally expect and get. I know how much effort you put into that rolling job my ❤️ thank you Dave for being so understanding of the outcome!
I see you Paul always putting in that work and making excellent videos for us Mustang owners to watch and learn from...One thing is missing though in the video...Rocky didn't make his guest appearance...Paul you are a very genuine guy who as I can see takes what happened very personal...That's a quality that many people just don't have anymore...Take care my friend
Thank you AntWuane for all the nice (on-going) comments and support! I try my best and want to be real here and show you guys the good, the bad and the mistakes made. My number one goal with youtube has always been to just be myself. I'm super hard on myself and was so bothered that this occurred, but Dave (owner) totally understood and didn't blink an eye. Have a great brother, look forward to meeting you in person!! 🙏🏁
Great work Paul I definitely need to invest in one of them fender rollers I have always used a baseball bat to roll all my finders but you need a driver
Awesome video brother. Thanks for sharing. Very interesting. Keep the content coming. Hope you have an incredible night. Much love and RESPECT to you and SALLY. You guys are incredible.
Yeah I’ve seen that done…some guys cut them, some guys roll them with a baseball bat. l guess whatever works. Thanks for watching, have a great day! 🤙🏼🏁
One dimple and a paint flake.....I wish. Paul. I tried rolling mine and didnt have a clue what I was doing. Wish I had this video then. I could not roll mine at all. I ended up having to cut every 3 inches or so and bend it back with a mallet. My rear fenders need body work now to smooth out. Rolling fenders is really hard. I assume it is because these fenders are alot thicker than the new cars. I never thought to heat it up with a heat gun. I learned something out of this. Thanks for the video.
Thanks Gus, I've done 70 plus sets of fenders/quarters and never had an issue; especially the front fenders as they are pretty thin metal. The rear quarters are much tougher! The heat is key to allow the paint to expand. Have a great day! 🏁
@@PaulDaFox I saw it but you were working with a fender that had issues already. It was a risk the owner was willing to take . You didn’t destroy his fender if anything you helped save his tires, it just came with a little defective. I still think it came out Amazing 🤩
@@carmob7499 Thanks brother, really appreciate that! I'm still bothered by it as I've done 70 plus sets of fenders/quarters and this is the one that bit me. Have a great day!!🤦🏁
Hey BrotherTom, I've done 50 plus sets if not more and this was my first time getting burnt which I didn't expect to occur on the front, but I certainly learnt from the experience. That said, the risk is always there even if you think things are going perfect🤦♂️ I appreciate the feedback and for you watching. Have a great night! 🙏🏁
Great video paul. I tried rolling the rear fenders on the Cobra last summer after I got it but its so damn low that the roller would not fit inside the wheel well.
@@PaulDaFox Yes it was. I had the IRS hanging freely with the jack stands on the torque boxes. With the roller bolted onto the hub it put the actual roller part up above the fender lip. I tried every configuration possible and it just would not fit in the amount of space available between the fender lip and the hub. I have a finger and a half gap between my tire and the fender.
@@Lethal_Venom That's interesting! I've never not been able to fit it in 70 plus sets of fenders/rear quarters. Maybe there are different sizes of rollers?
@@PaulDaFox possible. It was the eastwood roller I borrowed from a friend. Being on coil over does not help its slammed as low as it would go and I did not have a wrench to raise them.
RICHIE SCAN 5.0 POSSE . Paul i was so nervous when i had my rear quarters rolled . Original paint did get some minor flaking on the inside lip . So to protect the metal we ran some rust stopping paint on the inner lip . Its a Risk vs Reward thing . Another Great video
Awesome video Paul, I'm trying to build up the courage to roll the quarters on my hatch, I don't really want to roll the fenders but I really want 275/60r15s on the back 🤣
It’s no doubt a mentally tough job as your always worried about distorting the quarters or cracking paint but it does prevent the tires from getting cut. 🙌🏼🏁
Thanks SFT, not only we’re his tires rubbing but they were cutting into the tires. That said, it’s still bothers me as I’ve done a ton of these with my eyes closed (70 plus sets of fenders/quarters) so never did I think this was going to occur🤦🏼♂️ Thanks for watching🤙🏼🏁
The fender liner screw made a hole in my fender smh, previous owner painted the car and had terrible fitting wheels but didn't bother to roll the fenders beforehand
Morning Jaime, that little screw can be problematic if not removed and in my case here that screw hole was torn so as I rolled, the tear kept opening up which I didn’t see until it was at the seam. Thanks for watching, appreciate the comment; have a great weekend!! 👊🏼🏁
Thanks for watching! We really appreciate everyones time and hope you enjoy the video! Have a great night🤙🏼🏁
Nice job👍🏼
Thanks! 👍
Need to do this to mine!
Just take your time with it!
Neat process! Heating it up saves the paint from cracking as well! Cool 😎👋🐍
The heat is the most important step! Thanks Rich, have a great day!! 🏁

Thanks Chris, I do have a driver but I prefer doing things by hand especially when I'm dealing with some expensive rims 🤙🏁

@@CCAutoWorks I'm not saying my way is better, just obviously have more control by hand - that's all 🏁🏁

Stuff happens sometimes. I love helping my friends with their cars but I’m always afraid that I’m gonna screw something up.
This was the first time in 70 plus sets of fenders/quarters that this occurred and it really bothered me!
❤️👊👊
Thanks Paulo! Have a great day🏁
That’s all part of custom car building Paul don’t beat yourself up to bad. if it was easy everybody would do it !!👊🏻
Yeah but it sucks...I've done 70 plus sets of fenders/quarters and never had an issue. Have a great day!🏁
Nice! My rear fenders scrapped when i installed the coilovers. Definitely need to roll my fenders.
Great video!🤟🏻
