Bikini Beach is a Blue Flag beach in my secret getaway village of Gordon's Bay.
It's less than an hour from CapeTown and 30 minutes from our international airport.
Sheltered in the shadow of the Hottentots Holland Mountains to the east it makes an awesome venue for a sundowner picnic facing the western Table Mountain range on the Cape Peninsula.
