    Such a nice build. The video is even better: quick, straight to the point. No long tours like "in this drawer I keep my dildo collection, in this little box I keep a broken toothpick from my grandma, if you go here on the back I organised my kitchen towels by colour and year of manufacturing"

    Hey thanks Jason for the video. You happen to know which year Siennas you can take the back seats out of easily? I'd hate to have to worry about idiots lights being left on if you happen to do this with some vans.
    You know one thing that would be really nice? Is for that front passenger seat to be able to rotate 180 degrees!

    Thanks for sharing - So hard to find the 1st Gen (I know, it's old) Sienna converted - Nice job - Short, Sweet & Practical - Looking forward to working on mine with a Welder instead of wood - How has it been serving you? - Any suggestions on suspensions upgrades - I need a few couple more inches but can't seem to find any definitive information - Thanks again!!!

    Hello i have a 1999 toyota sienna. I had a question is the 3rd row seat removable?

    • @jasonboyceproductions
      @jasonboyceproductions  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      According to some web sources, the third row seat of a 1999 Toyota Sienna is removable, but it requires some tools and effort. You will need to pry off the plastic covers that hide the bolts and nuts that secure the seats to the floor, and then use a 12 mm socket to remove them. You will also need to disconnect any wires that run through the seat. You can watch some videos that show the process in detail. I hope this helps. 😊

    I'm looking at a 2001 Toyota Sienna to use as a camper. Does anyone know if the van will accommodate a 76 inch x 27 inch cot (with all seats removed)? I would just go look at the van and measure but it's 3 hours away and I don't want to drive 6 hours round trip just to measure, plus it's hard to find an old Toyota Sienna around here. Thanks!

    How much long of a run time do you get off a car battery?

    • @ShayTBD
      @ShayTBD 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      MOST batteries have AH or AmpHours listing on them - They are NOT good for solar usage - Every1 has DIFFERENT electricity requirements - Depending on your gadgets and what will be connected to the battery as well as all the equipment in between will determine YOUR USAGE

    I have a 2006 Sienna. I removed all of the rear seats. How necessary is it to building a floor? Can I just put a pad and a rug down? I don't have anyone to help me and I don't know how to make a floor.

    • @jasonboyceproductions
      @jasonboyceproductions  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No a floor is not necessary. I just needed it to build the other furniture off of. I have discovered that none of the cabinets or bench was necessary either.

    • @ShayTBD
      @ShayTBD 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jasonboyceproductions Thanks for sharing this pointer - I'm thinking ONLY storage under bed, try to maximize floor space & doing a snazzy compact fold away "Kitchenette" build

    • @sentientbeingslove
      @sentientbeingslove 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You've probably finished by now, but I just started my Sienna build and had this question too. If you're not looking to add more insulation, you can just use the snap and click flooring right over the carpet! My dad did it with mine for a temp floor until I decided what to use, but it absolutely could have been permanent!

  • @ShayTBD
    @ShayTBD 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    How much has it cost you to maintain it mechanically? I just got 98 Sienna and getting quoted over 1k just to replace mounts and valve cover gasket.

    • @jasonboyceproductions
      @jasonboyceproductions  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When I had it I replaced my own brakes and did my own oil changes. The rest I just let ride. Don’t know if it needed new mounts or a valve cover gasket because I never took it to a repair shop.

    • @elypeachy3296
      @elypeachy3296 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jasonboyceproductions fair enough, the gasket leaks oil so you would have seen oil residue on engine block and bad mounts would make the car start up rough, and have rough transmission shifts. So guessing you didn't those issues.

      Do it yourself if your able. Common tools and youtube is a great place to learn. Plus you get the satisfaction it's been done right. Labour is most of the cost.
