My favorite is from the top of the mountains. I've been at the top of Heavenly and Squaw when skiing, but I also climbed Mt. Rose. I have some pics but can't post on here. I used to live near Reno 11-13 years ago and spent a lot of time in Tahoe. I miss it a lot. I was searching for Tahoe videos and came across this channel. I've skied at most of the resorts and think that would be a great video topic. Thanks for the videos and keep enjoying such an amazing place.
@@GabriellaViola The views are great. You can seen Lassen peak volcano on a clear day. I parked in the Mt Rose summit parking area and took the hike alone. Only downside is it's a 16-mile roundtrip I believe. That and I'd take a friend, as it is desolate in some places and there is wildlife.
There's also a small waterfall along the way. The last couple miles is very strenuous. I read online that Maggie peak is 8,700 feet and not sure what the base is, but if it's lake level at 6,200 feet, the elevation gain for Mt Rose should be less. Definitely requires a lot of water.
Sorry for posting a lot of comments but I'm just excited to talk about Tahoe. In regards to skiing, if you find an expert skier in the area who is experienced in everything Tahoe, you could team up and get their recommendations and film with them. I only recommend because it could bring new subscribers and attention to your channel.
@@GabriellaViola I have an extended bucket list of places around our beautiful planet' and Lake Tahoe is certainly one of them! So thank you for bringing that dream a little closer.
Thanks for watching "The Best Photo Spots in Lake Tahoe"...Let me know where some of your favorite spots to take photos in Lake Tahoe are in the comments! Watch Part 2 here: th-cam.com/video/nDx8J8MRnHQ/w-d-xo.html
Great video! Can't wait for the part 2 of this video. I am wondering if drone flight is allowed at Monkey Rock? Also, I don't see you mentioning the Cave Rock Trail, it seems like a great easy trail for some spectacular view.
Part 2 should be out tomo! and Cave rock is on it as its definitely one of my favorite spots. As far as flying a drone, i just tell people to fly at their own risk and to avoid the state parks as your not allowed to fly in those areas..
BEAUTIFUL!! I hope to move there someday. Did you get to move back to Lake Tahoe from Carson City? I hope you have been able to. Thanks for the great video. (:
Thank you so much for stressing the fact that if you visit these places you need to pack it out! It is disheartening to see how many people could care less how they leave the area.Makes me wonder what is wrong with these people. The Rubicon is my favorite. Looking forward to Part 2.
thanks Scott!!! Yes the way I see it, people are always going to be visiting Tahoe since it's a major tourist destination ..so, when they are doing their research and looking for things to do, I'd rather they find a blog/video that emphasises leaving no trace. Also, the spots I share are pretty well known...I rarely mention the off the beaten path places. And I so I can't wait to hike Rubicon Trail this year, last I checked, it was covered in snow, so hopefully by now it melted!
That was a super clear day on that 1st one.
oh it was some amazing glass!
Having lived in mammoth from 2018~2022, lake tahoe seems like the obvious next choice to live! It's like mammoth times 100!
Love them. Maybe this coming week. Thanks for sharing. I am in dire need of a road trip. Take my trout rod and my cameras.
so feeling you on that road trip!
Wow!! Awesome views! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!

Thanks Sandy! I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Probably move back in the next month or so!
Love this video! Do you have suggestions of where to park in May to access Secret Cove? Looks like the Secret Harbor parking lot is closed right now.
just along the main road!

Are you able to visit all these in one day?
Probably not I would say 3 days to not wear yourself out
You're so beautiful!!
