wildevil Superman is one of the least interesting character of all time. Seriously, he's so uninteresting that his first good movie, Man of Steel, was him fighting his equals. Most of the time Superman is this guy who has all the powers which means he barely face his equal making it very hard to write a good story about. Batman on the other hand is so popular because he's relatable and have a good plot.

Life was hard growing up and not understanding what was going on with him because some of his powers were starting to emerge and it frighten him. His earth father constantly telling him to not reveal his powers to anyone. It was really hard. His father Kent told him that he should have not saved the kids in the school bus he looked so sad.

He knew something wasn't right with all the things that was happening to him. Seeing in X-ray, hearing things so loud he had to plug his ears, just experiencing things that other children difn't at his age. It was traumatizing him because he didn't understand or know who he was. He was so scared & it was horrible frightening to him.

Bruce Wayne is a billionaire, he could be using all that money to live a selfish and lavish life but he uses it as an advantage to help him as a super hero. He is only a mortal as Superman is a Demi God and yet Batman has beat Superman many times, Superman can fly, has xray vision, frost breath, super strength and speed, eye beams etc but yet he's still lost battles to human.
I prefer Batman because Superman is something we can't be but Batman is an inspiration. The Gotham media always makes him out to be the bad guy, the cops are always on his back, he takes the blame for everything, a lot of his good deeds go unnoticed so people can be safe, he could be enjoying those billions and not worrying about the world but he is what I would like to call a true Superhero.
A lot of people say Batman is just a guy in a suit with money, how is that Super? Well yes he is just a human in a suit who had a counter plan for the whole Justice League in case they turned Rogue which proved to work when a villain stole the data and used it against them. Superman was the only Superhero in the Justice League who still trusted Batman with that power and Kryptonite as he knew Batman was legit.
And Batman has stolen nearly all Superman's girlfriends lol They chose a human over a flying, super strong guy yardy yah, they chose Batman. So yeah Batman.
Batman has never beaten Superman in a canon fight, in canon Superman has won 7 out of 7

He can lift mountains, he's always there for his loved ones, he is a pure gentleman yet can fling bad guys across the country. His story is outrageous (obviously not really for kal-el himself, he grew up with ultra-capabilities so yeah) yet he didn't lose himself. He is a definite role model for anyone. Eh-hehe, not to mention he's easy on the eyes.
Batman: ...He's just flippin cool dude. His stories never fail to entertain from his persona to his enemies, the most iconic and memorable villains in any comic universe. He can think his way straight out a volcano and save his team in the process. He is a great detective and a psychological mastermind. He is always two steps ahead and prepared, I'm surprised he isn't a villain himself. Righteous. The list of his abilities can go on and on. Who can resist his mysterious gaze and that dark grace?

Awesome comment first of all I am a big batman fan but I want to speak for superman here. Superman lost his race and his birth parents yes he was loved and had a nice childhood but that doesn't take away from his pain when he does find out the truth. That is why I am a batman fan he is a tormented soul whereas superman is more god like.

That's what makes him different to his race and he never experience the feeling of loss like Bruce Wayne did.
