Thank you I was quite confused trying to connect all the coa and main stories lol. Now that you cleared that up I understand the different coa stories and it’s less confusing. Why is it female dancer, I can’t find her in the trailer or mv and she’s never mentioned in the costume’s descriptions. Tho embalmer’s mentions mech’s in his description and something about “his playful miscommunication finally took its toll on the Puppeteer (mech)”. Everyone has also been talking about female dancer’s costume but what one is it they refer to. Sorry. Hard to be in the original info loop.

So this is just my theory. The netherwalker has a connection with the dancer (maybe she's corrupted or something and turned into stone), and wanted to revive her back. The netherwalker did something, maybe take control of the creature in 0:37 (the tentacles thing). Then the control of the creature is passed to the dancer, now lost her own identity (ayyyy--), becoming faceless and the stone breaks, and the tentacles breaks out (in 1:05). What she desires now is to be revived, even if it means she has to take a life of someone in order to. The team, which ONLY has 1 female who is mechanic, has reached to the Abyss for some reason. It's like a life exchange. The netherwalker has attacked mechanic (and only mechanic? idk, in 1:13), resulted in she fell into the Abyss. The tentacles, which is controlled by the dancer, then take over mechanic, maybe consumed her soul and began the process of revival? Sorry if I made it messed up or something :") I watched this like 10 times so, it's just my theory. P.s: it seems the team is trying to discover who's the netherwalker, so that made up the reason why they came.
Just look at how Joker is admiring Dancer's statue just gives more confirmation to their lore being tied together. A hopeless one sided love. A tragedy.
Something to note upon better quality visuals... Pickman/Netherwalker's right eye seems to hold a similar, albeit chaotic shape resembling a roseー Just like Vile Blossom's eye.

Seer and embalmer is cipher rushing that's why they don't go for the save pause at 0:53 and yah'll see a goo look for the two but at the time when mech is kiting for 2 seconds only cowboy helps maybe the seer or embalmer is nub to not use a coffin or an owl for mech
I played this game in my worst and best at the same time ever, and this was my favourite identity v song, i was in the game since september 2018, but left more than 2 years ago. I feel like i want to cry, just how much this game made me feel.. so much friends, yet none of them are with me now.
