Just bought the XR3 Disc Ultegra this afternoon and it was my second ride ever on a race bike. Always hated cycling but this bike is only fun, fun fun and extra positive thing is the silence when you're riding. Also the fine-tuned, perfect working and direct listening shifters/gears. This bike is awesome !
Hey Bart, great to hear you are loving the bike and loving cycling again. Enjoy!
@@ChrisMillerCycling, do you know the bottom bracket is pressed into the carbon frame or has it an aluminium tube integrated? I want to know that because I have to change the bb for installing my Quarq powermeter.
You know what, a do it all road bike is the next big thing, I think. Having a bike that you can run bigger tyres and hit a fire road on, plus do some racing or fondo's on is a great choice. If you want 1 good quality bike to do it all, this IMO looks like it ticks all boxes. Not everyone wants 2 or 3 bikes to race, not everyone is pushing for those seconds, I really like the thought of this one, not sure I can justify the Ferrari though.
The only negative is the "negitive" in the on screen captions
Just beautifull, i am waiting for my OLTRE XR3 DISC ULTEGRA , the begining of May 😉😉😉
Congrats! Love my XR4 with Dura Ace 9150 Di2 and Bora Ultra 50 wheels.
Congz. bro that's a superb machine ! ! ! 👍😉
me too mate, I'm about to order mine!
About time though what has Bianchi been doing. The sempre was also marketed as a bike for the everyman. Its not pro light but saying that a lot of world tour aero disc bike and rim are around 7.3 to 7.6kgs. Nice bike but so many nice disc bike similarly specced for a lot kess coin.
Finally pull the trigger on my first road bike- The Bianchi XR3 Ultegra Disc in Celeste! One week of wait....
I like the idea of the running on 32mm tires. What make and model did you use for your xr3 and what other do you recommend.? Thank you for the advise
Hi Chris, what degree stem are you using on this set up? Thank you
Hi! bike looks great. What dura ace wheels did you go with on your build?
Hey Crhis, Quick note: I have an xr4 disc, ultegra di2. It is heavier by 4-500 gr than rim version, which is normal but I have to tell the discs don't rub, ever. I'm constantly removing, changing wheels and they do not rub. Maybe I got lucky..but I love discs.
Hey man. Thanks for the info. I have heard from a few sources that the DA calipers are far better at staying in position then the ultegra ones I had been running.
I have ultegra 8070 :) but I’ve started with a broken bolt..it just broke in half when I started to losen it...one half stayed in the fork. Before this happened it was rubbing. Now the bolt is out, I’ve got new bolts-> no rub. I assume some ultegra calipers came with possibly faulty bolts.
p.s: it is proved the bolt was not overtightened, it was simply a bad one.
I'd like to know your thoughts on the wheels you are running on bike. The new c40 dura ace from Shimano
Bianchi please make this color scheme available again :) not a fan of the 2022 one
Can you tell me where the bike is made
Frame is made in Taiwan I believe
Would have love to know the difference he felt with the Xr3 and xr4.
Thanks for your video
Not much difference, the biggest difference was one was this breaks and one was rim breaks
That said, this is five and six-year-old technology in those frames now. I would be looking elsewhere
@@ChrisMillerCycling Thanks mate ! I’m considering a aeroad or something else. Tbd haha!
@@ChrisMillerCycling Could you please be more specific regarding where would you look if you were looking to buy a bike today around 2800-3000€? How about Giants' TCR? Thank you.
does the matt finish scratch easily?
Good question mate, so far I've been really impressed with its durability. I have has problems in the past with Matt bikes, but so far so good
noice!
Can you do a review of the Aria please
I don’t own an Aria mate
Nice bike 👍
Size?

@@ChrisMillerCycling Thanks (50 cm ;-))
It’s ‘negatives’.
