27:39 “Hey do you want to go to Walmart tomorrow?” Or “I know your aunt” Chad Chad was so real for saying this. Every year on prom night my local Walmart is just full of teens hanging out at Walmart in their suits and dresses. I can’t imagine why someone would choose to move to LA when the live in the Tennessee mountains.
I can kind of see both sides of it. Some people really do just prefer that break neck speed and that works for them. I used to think I wanted that, but got older and realized small cities are definitely for me. I don't want to live in a town with actually nothing, but I hate all the traffic and noise and just shittiness that comes with people from big cities. But I also really enjoy living where I am, I'm an hours drive away from multiple big cities in another state so it's nice to go there and experience that every once in a while. But yeah, I personally couldn't imagine actually moving to those cities
That’s a pretty silly reason to think the mountains are in any way better than LA. I’m from the suburbs near Sacramento and I moved to a small town once, I lasted two months- none of my favorite restaurants, there was nowhere for me to get cheap furniture, couldn’t walk anywhere in less than 45 minutes. It was a nightmare as far as I’m concerned
After prom my friend and I went to the grocery store because it was the only thing open at 11pm 😂 we couldn't even get fast food because all the places were closed

I agree that misogyny is probably the main reason why these guys would react so strongly to her but not to men who say the same things.
I think it's probably also fear. They are afraid of what might happen to them if they clap back at the men podcasters but not Chadx2 because she's "just a girl."
Yeah, I also notice that guys see it as a bigger deal when a girl is mean or makes a jab, like it's less okay. Kind of like the same thing as when a girl gets angry and they call her hysterical.

You’re brave woman, Chad Chad.
Brave of what
"I spent a day with Serivce Dog Handlers (People who need service dogs)" - I think your platform would help to advocate for the service dog community, and to spread awareness about serivce dog etiquette for the public! I would recommend finding some with medical alert dogs and others with psychiatric service dogs :)
quite frankly distracting a service dog evidently on purpose should be a crime, just like messing with someone's medical device. if someone came up and messed with your IV and you punched them it would be okay, but cardiac or allergy service dogs? suddenly you're a villain for being upset
Okay
I love her deadpan humor so much
She’s so pretty, she looks like Lana Del Rey’s younger sister
I was homeschooled my entire life by religious parents in Kentucky, and I can say that way of thinking is so hard to unlearn. I understand exactly what she is saying. You have to experiment with things so late that it does feel like you missed out on a normal childhood. Spitting out what you were spoon fed is heartbreaking and confusing. Where do you get your nutrition from after that? So to speak. It truly is exasperating to find yourself in your 20's when it seems like everyone else is over that. It is also validating to see other people question things and change their views on the world that does not fit the bible belt narrative. I realized I didn't want to be Christian and that I just wanted to be myself. She is so wonderful for spreading that message. I don't hate Christians by the way but being raised like that can feel suffocating to some of us. So it's nice to hear when people find a lifestyle that better suits them.
I’m betting Funky Frog Bait to be interviewed next
Real
The unlimited bacon no games question never fails to make me lose it

Honestly, as someone who also grew up in a strict religious household, Chad Chad has always been a sort of inspiration and relatable figure for me. I appreciated hearing her talk about it.
Same for me! Honestly everything is relatable to me. Even down to the growing up in Tennessee, weirdly enough
i think it being “cringe to like things” is more prominent online than in everyday life
if anything, in real life its “cringe” to hate on other people liking things
in my personal experience at least
Chad Chad, you probably won’t see this, but I wanted to tell you I’m so proud of you! I’m a Christian feminist/egalitarian and I know firsthand how harmful the version of patriarchal Christianity you grew up in can be. I believe God created all people to be equal and that patriarchy was not part of his intention for humanity. So, so glad you’ve found your voice and that you’re flourishing!
@@ville__whatever you say freak
These two have such an awkward and endearing chemistry during the interview and I love it so much.
For my religious childhood we viewed “shut up” and “butt” as bad words. To refer to the ass we had to say, “bottom.”

+She seems so genuine and chill, I hope everything goes well for her 💕
Genuinely THANK YOU Anthony for all these - this can't be understated but in our current culture with so much toxic and misleading content and information out there, it's so vital to have this sort of thing so widely seen and to have this platform to allow for these very candid and very human experiences. Eloquently and intelligently articulated with grace - it's a great melding of a popular platform and medium to have open, candid conversations that I think ALL OF US can relate to.
Hearing the words "alpha male community" was like hearing "cool kids club" where all the lame kids make an exclusive club near a giant ass tree trunk somewhere in the woods during pre-scool
i’ve been watching chad chad since the beginning of her channel and it’s shocking to watch her channel grow as well as her confidence in her work. love this video!
as someone who grew up in a similar household, I resonate with chadchad a lot, the losing of self, the deconstructing and the process of unlearning things, having to realize that your own family pushes dangerous narratives onto you and that once you realize this your relationship with them will never be the same and that you no longer belong there, the shock of the fact that there's people who care about what you have to say or think or just about your existence in general is too real. I love her so much I hope she's doing good overall
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THISS!!! BEEN LOVING BOTH OF YOUR CHANNELS SINCE 2022!
Now I got the purpose of Chad Chad. She grew up in a religious household that taught out-of-date teachings & that prompted her to rebel against those teachings & now she's pissing off alpha male podcasts & pick-up artists cuz a lot of these guys still have patriarchal mindsets & she's there to set them straight
when i first watched chadchad i thought she was a big channel that must have been around forever and i had just not seen her content so i went to her page and there were like 5 videos and i was like wtf is this a second channel or smthn??
also her story is so interesting to me, that you can break out from that with very little outside influence and still becoming a well adjusted respectful human being
(and not to put a label on anyone but a feminist too. to go from so controlled in a patriarchal home to a feminist is pretty cooool imo)
I SAW THIS NOTIF AND SCREAMED I WAS JUST WATCHING HER!!!!!
I'm trying to figure out if their outfit coordination is intentional or not...
I know she doesn’t read comments, but ChadChad is one of the few content creators that I feel like has near perfect videos. The jokes hit, the content is tight, and the quality is great. She just comes off as an all around cool person and I’m never disappointed in her videos. I hope that’s not extra pressure but more just confirmation that’s she’s doing awesome
@@ville__ coming from someone also on the spectrum, commenting that you make better content than someone on their video is rude. Don’t say you’re against bullying if you leave comments like this.
@@ville__do you get notified when people dislike your comments?
Didn't know i could like Chad Chad even more than i already did, but there ya go. As a former conservative religious homeschooled person, the whole loss/suppression of yourself is something that's really difficult to work through, as well as deconstructing religion and patriarchal mindsets, since you don't have access to differing, kinder opinions. Constructing your identity after that, and building up your sense of self is such a huge thing, and can be isolating as you become different from your family/primary community. Chad Chad is such a badass. Go Chad Chad!
Great interview ❤glad I found you! & the discription made me chuckle😂 not many people read discriptions
I found Chad Chad‘s channel an hour before this got uploaded, holy moly
Is Chad Chad's religious background common in America? It sounds all sorts of messed up to me personally. I'm a foreigner, so idk how commonplace this is.
not necessarily commonplace, but also not… uncommon. it’s more typical in the deep south
very common
I expected maybe mild doctrine about the usual religious stuff, like purity culture and the whole "women should have kids" thing. But not literally a "women should ONLY have kids" welp.
@@briclare Also this is completely unrelated but I love your Pucca pfp, brings me back to years ago.
I'm also from Tennessee like ChadChad - I grew up with friends who had this sort of upbringing. I would get scolded by them for mentioning like, Harry Potter because it had "witchcraft" and God didn't want us to watch things like that. It was Satan trying to trick us. They never went online, and when they did they had one of those parental control things where they could basically only access wikipedia...as teenagers. And these were the kids who were allowed to go to public school. I imagine the homeschooled kids had it even worse. But on the same side, i grew up with unrestricted internet and media access and a very free liberal family, lol.
This video is edited really weird, idk the tone is all over the place and it feels like sections that were next to each other are moved around to keep it light I guess it just makes the video worse. (BTW I really really like Chad Chad and her content and I'm glad she was interviewed, it's not that)
Yeah and they reference a convo that was probably cut out. I think they realized it was too heavy and maybe Chad or others were uncomfortable w some of the subject matter so it was salvaged a bit awkwardly. Still enjoyed seeing my girl though!

I love how different all the interviews are and that everyone is allowed to be or present themselves as they want. Makes every interview special.
