Pure bliss. Listening to Shri RKM, makes one appreciate the music even more. He brings out the bhavam so beautifully. I must have listened to this concert several times. 🙏
रामकृष्णन् मूर्ति महाशय! अमृततुल्यानि देवीस्तुतिपराणि कीर्तनानि श्रावयित्वा अस्मान् धन्यान् कृतवान् भवान्। भवतां रागालापनम् अतुल्यं सुमधुरम्।
The crystal-clear manner in which he sings is very commendable. Be it the raga/ swara/sahitya…… we can literally write down the notation precisely. There are only a few artistes who sing with so much emphasis on the Sahitya of the kritis. This adds a whole new dimension to the rendering. Many congratulations and best wishes for your efforts in this regard.

One of the best concerts I have listened to, particularly of a Vidwan who gives great emphasis to the Sahithyam. Saveri is outstanding. The concert of Devi Krithis is a melody of total divine bliss. Perhaps, as a homage to his late mother, who reached the heavenly abode recently in the prime of her life, RKM has offered homage to his mother by way of these Devi Krithis. Ohm Shanthi. Everything comes together perfectly in this concert. One wishes the Marivere would just go on; didnt know the composition had so many charanams. The other compositions are equally good. Thank you so much and look forward to many more 🥰 Rahul and the accompanists are in perfect harmony.
Shri RKM is probably the only vidvan I've heard (albeit, a subset) who sings ALL the charanam-s of Shri Shyama Shastri's krti-s. For instance, the Chintamani krti "Devi Brova samayamide", he renders the charanam in which one gets to see a different facet of Shri Shyama Shastri! In this charanam, He changes strategy from pleading with the Mother to throwing a bit of a tantrum (in a loving way) asking the Mother to come now, not tomorrow and that He will not listen to HER excuses tomorrow ! Thank you, Shri RKM for your lovely renditions of Shri Shyama Shastri's krti-s.

As I was going through the comments, I saw a few mentioning high Tambura volume as overpowering. I thought that enhanced the experience with all instruments and your voice in perfect alignment with the tambura. What is your candid opinion on this, sir? Rahul

Several of great concerts of yours are lost either because of loud tambura or an unbalanced noisy violin, Sir . It's really a tragedy for the rasikas. I request you to kindly pay due attention to this aspect . You are an amazing artist. Your concert with Mrs Charumati, or Mr Citral Rangan are too precious treasures to be lost. Thanks. I found the Thamburu volume drown out the sound of violin and even the main artist's voice. I was hoping to enjoy the concert, but couldn't because of the Thamburu sound.
