- I Platinumed: THE CALLISTO PROTOCOL! ITS HORRIFYING! In this video, I platinum The Callisto Protocol on the Playstation 5. The Callisto Protocol is developed by Asobo Studios and Published by Krafton. The Callisto Protocol is the spiritual successor to Dead Space as most of the same people who made the Dead Space Trilogy, developed this game. The Callisto Protocol overall is a fun game and I did enjoy getting the platinum 90% of the time. The Callisto Protocol has a Season Pass so I'm expecting DLC at some point.

Callisto is amazing, it''s a triple A game that got stumped by reviewers and trolls who expected something else. I love it even more than the Resident Evil remakes, until now, that is. 3 playthroughs, and trust me, maximum security isn't as hard as you might believe. With practice and the right upgrades (arm breaker, full damage on stun baton, better block, damage augmentation on every gun you pick up (I didn't use secondary fire)), it's stellar. A lot of the backlash is unwarranted. For me it's all about the gameplay, atmosphere, characters and pacing. I love Josh Duhamel's performance. His lack of flamboyance to me is a strength and I understand it's a matter of perspective. To the trolls : you don't like the game? Fine! But how about not wasting a second of your life rambling negative crap about the games you don't like? Mature!!!!!

Don’t we all love games that force you to get all collectibles in 1 run rather then have chapter select for the ones you missed.
For people are playing the game if you use the grp on the bomb guys and throw them at the boss, they will explode and also damage the boss
The hate is 100% just performance (and dodging mechanic) i like how they kept things out of the story, so they can fill in those details in the sequel, like that pink cube
There's a season pass so they could go detailed into it in DLC
Alot of people have alot trouble with the final boss on normal or hard. Don't get the troubles or worst design. He's really fair.
If the kamikaze spawn, you can stun him with a secondary shot direct to his face. Gives you alot of time to get out his way. Pro tip for the gamers that are stuck and don't do noob exploits😅lol
i just did the maximum security exploit on ps5 on the new patch!!! still gonna play it on maximum tho 😂 this game is just so good

Congratulations on the platinum though, I found this game painful to playthrough with how boring I found the combat, which is unfortunate as I was quite looking forward to it being different to Dead Space.

I see the Third one we don’t talk because people moan and complain that it went action instead of horror but give you the ability to create custom guns
The exploit for beating it on hardest difficulty is also in bioshock as well. They didnt even bother to patch it in the remastered editions.
Video recommendation: Try to go for the Dead Rising 1 Platinum it is very challenging and fun to do it brings back nostalgia for alot of zombies gamers

The only problem I had getting platinum on this game was the full weapon upgrade trophy. It freakin glitched on me, and I had to jump through all kinds of hoops to get it. I loved the game, though. Is it perfect? Hell no, but it's very fun and far from bad. Well, after all the patches 😏.
I got two trophies in that grinder room it was the perfect farm spot
Hopefully getting this game for Xmas. Sadly I heard there isn’t a lot of gameplay hours but I’m still gonna try and have fun getting the platinum. Didn’t watch the video by the way trying to stay clean from spoilers but i will 100% watch it after I play.

I wish the performance and dodging was better but its still enjoyable.
DODGE, I managed to avoid the collectibles glitching and completed it on Maximum without the glitch. I enjoyed my time with it, the final boss SUCKED lol, I hate games that throw random crap at you when fighting a boss. You just get continually killed by off screen nonsense lol.
I found it started to get a bit repetitive towards the end and the story could’ve been better, especially character wise. As I said though it was decent.
Oh and the graphics? Next level.

For a recommendaiton, it'd be pretty fun to see a Platinum run on Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion. I've never seen one recorded, and the achievements can be pretty fun, except for Love Failed, but you'll find out if you end up checking it out! :P

I beat it on the hardest difficulty on the first playthrough. It sucked, but I did it - no exploits.
Loosk great, getting it for xmas. Looking at the violence makes me wish they will remake manhunt.

They patched the maximum security exploit, I tried it yesterday lol, I just beat the whole game on max security, it’s honestly not too difficult. Glad you like the game though, I really like it too despite a few issues, I think they’ve got something really cool here to build off of for future installments, assuming we get any. It’s a fun game. I’d def recommend it to anyone who just wants a fun action horror game, the combats so much fun. It feels really good to pull off efficiently.
I'm curious what they do with the DLC since there's a Season Pass.

@@IJJoshYT omg yes there is no reason he should be an insta kill on easy difficulty, also doesn’t help that there is no ammo lying around and your character simply can’t out run him and those 4 explody boys can suck it

People hate on this game because it's not Dead Space. Look at Warzone 2.0 majority of the time your getting kicked from lobby, are lagging, frame rates don't load up, or simply can't play it and that's a really big development company compare to the once who made this game but no hate on that because it's COD.

Here is my problem is I play ps5 dodging is almost impossible to do consistently and the combat is designed for 1vs1 combat so 90% of game just forces you to chuck everything at walls
I found the dodging fine until you had to do perfect dodges. You can literally hold the analog in one direction then go back and forth

they dont like the combat and i get that, getting up close and in your personal space is not how we have dealt with the horrors of space mutants, but i am glad they did it and i like it a lot, i was never scared with dead space i knew i had enough firepower and ammo and kept them at a distance i felt more like a bad ass, not so in CP and i like that, i have to play defensivly and use my noodle. and the atmospher and lighting and soundrtrack are the best i have even seen and heard,
i am playing it on PC and the PC crowd are curcifying the game because it wont run as fast as they want it too but it has real time dynamic lighting and sound and effects that are only used in movie SFX i have a 2080ti and it runs well at 44fps on high settings in 4k
the consoles are running it at 1080p max 60fps on meduim settings 30fps in 1440p
so i think the pc version is not that bad its a demanding game for sure but unplayable it is not.

this game have no replay attraction at all. unskipable cut scene no new game+ no unlockable after beating the game. currently at chapter 6 doing 20 mins a day xD.

I like the game too but I don't think it's a controversial opinion. Calling the game "horrifying" is more controversial I'd say because it isn't scary at all. Some sections were creepy and tense but nothing ever happened and those were probably the best parts for a real scare. I found devour to be more scary and I think that's a shitty PC game
I'm terrible with horror/scary games. I love them so much but they make me jump so much haha
