But in some countries Pharmaceutical companies especially the big and established ones a.k.a. Big Pharma they have a tight grip on some of the senators and lobbyists. I hope its not the same in the Philippines. Hopefully they would pass the bill and make it a law to be used for medicinal purposes.

Even recreational should be legal. At least it can be regulated. People seem to have some false belief that illegalizing something makes less people use it, which is obviously not true. I had planed to visit the Philippines but this wuhan virus has stopped that activity for now. Bu I am a card carrying marijuana patient and I am concerned I will not be able to stay very long. I vote they legalize it for patients like myself and my son who has seizures . We like the idea of no pills or shots. Just use the flower or oil to easy our symptoms and anxiety. It's a great natural medication. We need it!

Here in America, the medical marijuana industry grew into an underground of doctors prescribing medical marijuana cards for anyone who would pay. Then the government decriminalized marijuana so all could lose interest in working and the streets can be filled with the smell of marijuana while walking or driving. Smell is like a skunk, which are not in Philippines, but are pungent smell. As a PH permanent resident, dont support medical marijuana unless you want to see the country go into the cesspool on the coming years.
