I have the same unit but it has the Hydraulic oil cooler. It gets hot but not dangerous to the oil. The electrical system is suspect but works. The problem is where can you spend that level of money and get anything better?
Mine gets so hot that the gas will boil and the hydraulics will get very sluggish. Has yours ever gotten that bad? I agree with your last sentence and that is exactly why I bought a Kymron. If I get the overheating issue fixed, I will probably keep the excavator. Have you had any issues with yours?
There's a few things about the YH14 I wish I could change. Engine access, speed, and the width of the tracks. For those reasons, I personally would look at a larger excavator and I am debating purchasing a larger one. I am not limited on size of excavator, since we are using it on our large property. I primarily got the YH14 because it fit my budget. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!
@@ColoradoCampermanOk, I've had best success with non-ethonal fuel. The ethonal in standard fuel from the pump burns hotter. I've put over 70hrs on a YH14 without an oil cooler.
Beautiful times up in the mountains. Thank you for sharing

I'm trying to decide between the 14, 20 and 26 sizes. I wonder if the 14 is just too small for what you're trying to do?

What type of gas are you running in it?
Midgrade, I always add the proper amount of fuel stabilizer too.

@@parsleyequipmentDo you use TruFuel from the store? Or do you have a gas station that has non-ethenol fuel?
@@ColoradoCamperman we have some gas stations with non-ethonal
@parsleyequipment Got it, thanks for the info. I'll give it a try.
