It's breathtaking isn't it? Ronnie has gone beyond!!!!! He's even more talented and a more refined singer than I gave him credit for since ReVamped! He's got it ALL! Ronnie invited Jacoby to react to his versions and there's a video of it! It's so great!! I LOVED your reaction!
This was/is Jacoby Shaddix approved. There is a video on youtube where Ronnie is playing and unfinished verison of the song for Jacoby. Needless to say he loved it.
How did Ronnie reimagine this song to the point that it is literally "Song of the Year" so far??? This was crazy! By the way, I have goosebumps on clearance sale for anybody who needs some.. LOL
Papa roach’s song was for teens who felt their world was ending. Ronnie’s is for adults who feel their world is ending. Both versions are gonna save many people.
It's so cool how in the song Watch the world burns, the world actually burns at the end and then this song comes in and the world is repaired at the end. Just amazing!
This song meant a lot to him he grew up with relationship problems with his mother so that line say “it all started when I lost my mother no love for myself no love for another” was genuine emotion coming through in his voice

Papa Roach's "Last Resort" was much faster paced, and was a bit of an "angry Teenager" style song. But with the same lyrics.
Many people used it to 'rage out' to after bad days at school, loosing a game, or just bad day in life in general.
For some of us though, it was a quit literal life-saver song, even in its faster-angrier-version.
Ronnie captures what this song was for those of us who were kept afloat by the original song.
12:28 -13:13 = the battle far to many of us fought, given in music form. And not everyone won their battle.

I cut because I felt so out of control. It was like I was trying to “blood letting” to get all the awfulness I felt inside out. It didn’t help, but it was a desperate attempt to deal with my situation. Thankfully, I got help & was able to find healthy ways to deal & cope with my issues. I sobbed the first several times I watched this. I have always loved this song, but this version felt like it touched my soul.
I completely understand not really paying attention to the lyrics when you were younger, i was completely the same when it came to most songs but now i learned to understand all the songs i listened to in the past and they have become even more meaningful now.
Great reaction TYLR! The "Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine" line hits hard. If someone that's reading this comment is feeling the same way, you're fine! This is the heaviest song that Ronnie's done.

Oh I heard this song a few days ago. Not the band I remember, but I guess it's something. Falling in Reverse always comes to my mind along with "Escape the Fate". They are a fun band, my fav song probably would be "The Flood".
