    I usually have flights early in the morning and experience the same short to no lines. Then I flew at 9pm recently and the bridge was overflowing with people. The white tent that you showed in the beginning was full. Luckily I didn't have to check any bags and was able to skip the massive line.

    Thank you thank you thank you! Finally someone who actually took the time to explain each step. I've never used CBX before, and plan to use it this summer for the first time Primeramente Dios. I get anxious when I don't know everything I need to do beforehand, so this video was so helpful and I am feeling better about using CBX. I subscribed to your channel and am watching your other CBX crossing videos.
    Question: I noticed you checked-in volaris in the CBX building even after having checked-in online and having a carry-on. Do you recommend doing that?

      Thank you & I’m glad it helped! 🥰
      As for your question, This is something that I always do regardless if I already checked in on my phone. I’ve always wondered the same thing though, I remember asking this to the desk lady if it mattered to check in personally with them or if we could just bypass the desk since we already had checked in- but I don’t remember what she said 😕 However, I think you should go to the desk bc you may get an update on your boarding pass, that you probably didn’t have beforehand.

    Awesome video. Going to Puerto Vallarta in July. Using CBX. Do we check in our luggage when coming through CBX so that we don't have to wait in line in the airport?

    Una pregunta ellos te pidieron la prueba del COVID en migración mexicana ?

    • @itwaszaira5986
      @itwaszaira5986  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, no piden prueba. los de migración sólo se encargan de los papeles importantes. Los que te piden algo sobre lo de tu salud son los que están para cruzar el puente y los que están cuando vas a pasar a las salas de abordaje. No es una prueba del covid que tienes que mostrar sino Solo un papelito de “Salud” que ellos te dan ahí en CBX o igual también se encuentra del lado de tijuana.

    Does a volaris ticket come with a CBX ticket or do I have to buy it separately?

    • @itwaszaira5986
      @itwaszaira5986  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello!
      If you are on Volaris website and you put “SD - Tijuana CBX” then you will get an “add on” option to include your CBX ticket to your reservation, therefore, when you’re done purchasing your ticket all together, you will notice that on your itinerary it will list your “cross border express” ticket on it.
      If you’re on Volaris buying your ticket and put “SD- Tijuana” without it saying “cbx”, then you’ll have to buy the CBX ticket separately from the CBX website.

    Do you have any tips on exchanging USD to pesos when going through CBX?

    • @itwaszaira5986
      @itwaszaira5986  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi!
      Idk if this is considered a tip but I will note that there are several exchange windows where you can exchange .
      1) First one is inside the CBX terminal, infront of the Volaris kiosks. (This one I have noticed is typically closed which is probably because I’ve traveled between 3am-5am so it’s probably too early for it to be opened)
      2) The next exchange spots are at the TJ airport, infront of all their check-in kiosks. There are a few windows there.
      3) The last one is at the boarding gates, down the hall way going towards the “1-7 gates”. This is where I typically exchange them, only once was it closed when I tried to exchange.
      Best rates are not found at airports but If I didn’t exchange pesos beforehand then something that I do is exchange some of my money at the airport so I can have pesos on hand for whatever I may need the moment I touch down at my destination. The rest I save so that I can exchange at my destination somewhere more in city, counting on that the exchange rate would be higher in town than at the airport.
      On this particular trip, my family friends told me that where we were going to in Nayarit, there wasn’t any quick or nearby places that they knew of for us to stop by an exchange, so I exchanged it all at the TJ airport on the boarding gates side. When I travel to Michoacán, I know where to exchange over there and just give my ride a heads up to stop by an exchange window before making it to our little town.
